So California
I'm still new to this and have only one PV- kr808d1, seems really simple to me, and that made a big difference in deciding what to get. I don't understand the set up with an atty and drip tips, etc (those are 510's right?)....with this one, fill, pop it on, done. Makes my brain hurt less. the more I read here, the more info overload I got, lol. I don't have any cons at this point, I like what I have.

I'm dripping with a LR 901 on a 3.7V Chameleon. If I get bored or just want a change I'll switch it over to a 510. I really like this mod because I have lots of choices; 510, 901, 801 and if I throw a 510-808D adapter on it I can use 808D cartos. It has a 5V PT option if I want to use that and I can use two 3V batteries to do 6V. I haven't done that and doubt that I will because I like 3.7 and 5V.

The only "con" I can come up with is that it isn't a VV, so I can't really choose anything other than what I get from the batteries. Right now, I don't really see that as a disadvantage because I'm extremely pleased with it.

Not to derail but you don't have to have a adapter, the brass 901 that came with the chameleon has a hole drilled for airflow so it will take the KR8's also with no need of a separate adapter..

And as for me to answer OP's question, I drip : D

Mine is a BB from AltSmoke. It's a tubular mod that runs off a 14500 battery and is threaded for 510 attys/cartos.

pro's :
It is a high quality durable mod
much better battery life than a standard 510
better vape production than a standard 510
with adapters it can use other standard attys/cartos
you can buy a modified bottom that allows use of a larger battery.

Cons:
its not a cheap mod (meaning its "pricey" compared to plastic box mods")
it is "fixed voltage"
not a juice feeder

I've heard of people cutting back the plastic on the eGo Mega cartos so they fit on the 510 adapter, but not the Mega attys. I suppose if you really wanted to go to the trouble of cutting the metal down it might work. I wouldn't do it, though. There are plenty of cartos that work great and dripping is so easy that it wouldn't be worth all the work.

FrankeneGo.

It's an eGo connector and cone with a mod'd 306LR atty powered by my DIY 18650 copper mod. I loved the eGo cone concept (I think it makes a nicer vape ...good air flow plus insulated atty...just seemed to enhance my vape plus cuts down on sound of gurgle when dripping) but needed MORE POWER! For me, neither 650 or 1000 mah could go all day with a 306LR (but I couldn't live without the come...doh) so I built a FrankeneGo and steped it up to 2500 mah! Only built this thing a couple days ago. I can vape a 306LR all day with it and still have lots of power. All the info and ideas are in the ECF form for any of you DIYer's. Next time an eGo batt dies on you, save it. Your next trip might be to Home Depot and Radio Shack to drop about $15 to build your own mod Thumb below shows it next to an Inferno 1000 mah (Inferno is basically the same as an eGo).

Live Free Or Die
I vape a Bartleby.

Pros:
1.) Built-in USB works as a charger and passthrough at the same time. I can vape all day without killing a battery, then unplug and go.
2.) 14500 battery has GREAT life. I will take a second battery next New Years, but I woke up at 11am and it didn't die till 4 or 5am with constant vaping during.
3.) 14500 battery is used in other mods, so supply is either on hand or usable later.
4.) Doesn't look anything like an analog.

Cons:
1.) It's flimsyish. This isn't per se a bad thing. I started vaping a DSE-905 which is heavy and durable metal. In an attack scenario, I could use it as a weapon and more practically, could use it to open beer bottles. Can't do that with the plastic bodied Bartleby.
2.) It's slightly homemade. It feels that way. The battery cover is slightly off alignment. Because of that, the battery cover needs to be pushed in with gusto and it doesn't line up perfectly even then.
3.) It looks nothing like a cigarette.
4.) To the best of my knowledge, you can no longer purchase them.

I put the cig thing on both. I personally think it's a PLUS, but some people will ignore it solely for that reason.
