What's your sweet spot with coils?

Two pieces of .30 gauge kenthal spun together tight, 8 wraps on a 3/32 drill bit and reads 1.4 ohms. I have it set up as a vertical chimney coil in my Russian 91%. Chimney coils are my latest fave. Surround coil w/ organic Japanese cotton rather than poke threw coil. Coil positioned right above air hole on the deck. You actually draw air threw the coul rather than around it. Its turned my tank into as much of a cloud chucker as it can get. lol. :vapor:

29ga single-coil; 7 wraps around 7/64, comes to 1.7-1.8 ohms. In a Kayfun Lite Plus (clone), with rather tight airflow; usually somewhere between 8 and 9.5 watts. And not compressed; I wrap it pretty tight, but just leave the natural spaces. Wicked with rayon/cellucotton.

After playing with all the crazy coils on YouTube, I've come to the conclusion a simple 1.2ohm 6 wrap 28g in my Russian works best for me. Still searching for the perfect build in my drippers.

Of the fancy kayfun/Russian builds I like twisted the best. It seems to create better flavor but due to the PITA factor, I rarely build them anymore.

I've been building more to 195 +/- 30 mW/mm^2 at the 3.9V midway discharged point than to any particular ohms lately. When the vape is cool, the battery gets swapped out, its really easy to tell.

I'd gone from really digging the throat hit of a hard hitting vape on the upper side of warm to preferring less throat hit and more just mildly warm vapor.

I like dual coils, in the range of 0.5 ohms w. 25awg to 1.5 ohms w. 30awg on a 3/32 in drill bit. Most are vertical builds as my preference in equipment is a genesis atty on a mechanical mod.

When I run the dripper dual coils at 0.5 ohms w. 25awg is pretty much the go to build for me. I much prefer the genesis for flavor though.

Twisted 28g kanthal. Dual coils 3 wraps each on, I believe a 2mm or so screwdriver. Puts me at .3 ohms.
My other favorite build right now since I got a Onslaught RDA. Is triple coils with 26g kanthal. The dude at the shop made it complimentary with my purchase, but It looks to be 10 wraps. Not sure of the size and it put me at .41 ohms.

All on a 26650 mechanical mod for now. The guy at the shop is building me a OKR-T10 box mod.

Dual Coils (parallel) with 24 gauge, 8 wraps on a 1.5mm post for 0.24Ω. I use this on my Stillare and Plume Veil on a Copper 4Nine and Copper Manhattan respectively.

Single coil with 24 gauge on a 3.25mm post for 0.7Ω. I use this on my Magma and Kayfun, and alternate both on my Cana.

To the member who said 0.14Ω, please be careful friend.

235mW/mm^2 at 4V goes down to 184mW/mm^2 at 3.5V

Dual micro coils on 2mm diameter mandrel in 30awg kanthal a1 10/9 wraps each wicked U wick style with 100% cotton yarn (peaches & cream).

This is a flavor machine right here and stays nice on a mechanical right to the end. Plus I can use this atty on any device I own and with any battery down to the 18350's for days when going small is in order.
