well i got a new smok magneto in the mail the other day and its been gret so far, just for kicks i decided to test the voltage drop....
the battery is a 1 year old heavily used AW 18500 1100mah
the mod smok magneto
the rba smok dripper RDA
the battery had been use for a few hours and its voltage was at 3.85 v at the time of testing
the coil is a 1.2 ohm standard sinle coil with cotton wick
the voltage at the post under power is 3.67v
so with a 3.85v aw18500 battery driving a 1.2ohm coil i get a reading of 3.67v, thats a .18v drop in voltage.
a voltage drop of only 1.8 is incredable considering that i did the test with a partialy discharged 18500 battery that is more than a year old !
props to the magneto ! its a well made mechenical mod ! i am shure i can get a lower voltage drop with new and better batterys !
lets say a brand new 18650 sony 30amp imr on a fresh charge after its broken in, driving the same 1.2 ohm coil would probably result in a voltage drop of less than .1 !
whats your go to set up and its current voltage drop ?
