Just had my first official juice spill ever in my vape career :)
20 months spill free down the drain.

I've miss dripped a few times or had some run down the side of a bottle.

But this was a spill. Full 100 ml bottle, had the cap off and opened up my drawer to get the dropper top for it. Opened the drawer too quick and too far and full 100ml bottle hit the floor.

I heard "Glug-Glug-Glug" (3 Glugs) before I got to it. I would guess about 10-12 ml is now in my carpet and on paper towels. Too bad it was 50/50 VG/PG .... All VG and it might have just sat there :)

Dam-it

Got a box sitting on the spot right now so the dogs don't try to lick it.
Have to get out the steam cleaner as soon as I get back from dropping the kids off.

It is difficult to keep all the various bottles upright! I found a black cardboard (very heavy cardboard) box at Walmart that I think is for photo storage but is tall enough that all my bottles will stand upright. But I have smaller boxes (without lids) in it to keep the juice bottles from falling over. Hope it cleans up well!

ouch, thats quite a bit of juice. My first juice spill was a few weeks back when I first got my Reo. I was still getting the hang of bending the tube and screwing the cap on and my 6ml bottle of Banana Nut Bread escaped for freedom. It was some pretty dark liquid and I have no idea how it was nice enough not to stain my carpet.

I am so sorry Tim! I know I would freak out if that happened.
My biggest fear is the bottle of nic liquid when mixing. If that tips over and spills it would be a costly mistake. I always put my gloves on before even opening the plastic ziploc it is in. That way if something happens my hands are covered. I know if I didn't and it tipped I would not think about grabbing gloves!
We should be using gloves even with the mixed juices, but I really don't. They can be harmful if it comes in contact with our hands. But it is easier to pour or transfer without getting out the gloves.
Even cleaning up a spill, where there is a chance of the liquid touching our hands calls for gloves!

And that split second when you first realized what happened is the worst! I hope it all comes out of the carpet for you, and great thinking covering it up so the dogs don't get at it.

My first and only spill so far (knock on wood) was the day I got my mini. I was trying to fill the 3ml bottle from a spare grand bottle, and the nipple wasn't seated fully. I was squeezing the bottle, and it wasn't dripping... Next think I knew, I felt the pressure give, and 6ml of juice is all over the counter top. Completely missed the paper towel that the bottle was sitting on.

Had only one big "spill" in kitchen; no carpet. 120 ml FSUSA Hopscotch or Butterscotch Almond, new and full. Shook well and took top of and got distracted by something in other room. Came back and absent mindedly shook it. Lost about a third all over the kitchen. But that was a pretty easy clean up compared to most of our messes. Hugs, Alice

Mine was caused by not paying attention oops. I was talking to the lovely lady lola whilst trying to refill a bottle and shot most of a 30ml bottle over my hand when the lid popped off. Other than the mess and waste of money it didn't have any affect and didn't make me sick which was, at the very least, good to know.

I once spilled about 5ml of halo Torque. I was sooo mad, I had taken the dropper top out to fill up my carto and there it went, all over my in-laws carpet. as handy as the dropper tops are, maybe they arent the best thing for juice, I am starting to think the nipple IS the best way. With the dropper top, there is too big a hole left when you unscrew it. I have had a few close calls with my 100ml bobas bottle.

I haven't had one yet, but every time I fill a reo bottle or swap them I fear a spill. I'm hyper paranoid about it.

About getting it on your skin? I was always concerned and cautious about that until I accidentally tipped nearly 30mls over my hand, think it was about 16mg stuff and the only affect was the mess and to my bank account. It pays to be cautious but if it does happen, I think if you wash it off straight away and the mg isn't too high you should be ok. I hope you remain spill-free :)

I really don't worry about getting it on my skin as I wash my hands after I handle the bottles anyways. More worried about wasting juice or one of the animals in the house coming into contact with it. Mostly it's about wasting juice though. Every drop is precious!
