i've noticed that my low resistance atty doesn't perform as well when my p18 battery drops to the
3.7 range. the hit is weak and vapor production is extremely low.
lucky i have a spare batt that has a full charge. i swap it out and all is good again.
at full charge my batt is at 4.18

just want to find out if other p18 users get the same experience.

Your vapor production will be quite weak if your batteries voltage drops to 3.7 unloaded as your loaded operating voltage is about 3.2-3.3 Volts which is pretty weak. Fully charged batteries give you around 4.2 volts and 3.7 Volt loaded operating voltage. What brand battery are using?

AW's will give you many hours in the 3.7 volt loaded operating voltage range (4+ volts unloaded). If you are experiencing drop off really quick, i'd suspect they batteries may be getting old, defective, the charger not charging them all the way(or them not being on the charger long enough, sometimes you need to leave them on there longer, even if the light is "green").

Well that's a concept that many professionals in the field would have a problem with.

Well I don't know if you would call 3-4 days really quick or not light to med vaping.
I have aw 2600mah batts.
Also I have no idea what you mean by loaded and unloaded.

I run 18650 batteries almost non-stop on my mods...the easiest "routine" is to just swap for fresh battery every morning and put the "used" one on the charger. I have batteries that I originally got back in Feb. 2010 that are just now getting a bit weaker and just not holding a charge as long...but I also suspect it's the LR attys that are draining them quicker too, which is why I've recently ordered some of the AW's to try.

The basic concept is to charge before total drain, but not to leave battery sitting in charger for days on end either. I've personally never had a problem with charging overnight or put on in the morning and take off charger around dinner time.

Loaded and unloaded voltage is just simply the difference in battery current when it's being used(button being pressed) and unused. Hope that helps some.
