Never tried dripping but is highly interested in getting into it. I wonder if the first hit is the best, when the atty is saturated with juice? And the second or third hit just decreases in quality? Ideally, it'll be the best to drip every time you take a hit right?

For me, the first hit kind of primes the coil (definitely not the best way to say it, but closest I could think of).
The second/third hits are by far the best for me. Then, around hit 10, I know I have to redrip a few drops.

I guess it depends on how you do it. For me the wick is usually a little bit too wet on the first few hits after dripping.
When you have it down right if your wick is new as long as you aren't running dry every hit will be the same. Your battAlso if your coil is brand new then it takes a few hits to be right. They seem a little harsh for the first 10-12 hits. After that, change your cotton every day if you have a gunker when needed if not. Your good to go. You really won't notice a drop off from first to 50th if all is well. Juices that really gunk up coils will be a little different as they build up on the coil. I have very little experience with those as I don't like dessert flavors and those seem to be the worst offenders.
Depends on the resistance. On higher resistance, the first and second hits have the most flavor. Then at sub ohm, the flavor is fantastic until the wicks start to dry.
