Where are the air holes in different models (trying to compare 808d-1, 501 auto, E9)

Hi all!

I have an E-9 (KR808d-2). It's practically impossible to find the battery at a "generic" price, so I'm starting to look into the more popular models.

I like my E-9 because the air holes are at the tip, where the LED and "ash" cap are. When I use my hubby's 808d-1, it makes noisy inhalation sounds - I prefer silence. lol The intakes on the 808d-1 are at the base of the battery (where it connects to the cartomizer).

So, where are the air holes in a 501 auto?

The vents on a 510 aren't on the battery. They're incorporated into the atomizer or cartomizer on the connection end. It's the same with the 808D-1 cartomizers.

Thanks WOH! Do you vape either of those? If so, does yours make any air-whooshing sounds?

I do vape both 510 and 808 cartos. Neither of them make a very loud whooshing sound. I hear mostly a sizzle, which a good sound. But, I also use a 510>808 carto adapter and I can adjust the draw with it. If the draw is too loose, then I get a lot of air whooshing so I tend to keep it at a tighter draw.
