I have used finish washers as drip cups. Definitely not as much capacity, but a viable option. Brass finish washers look nice with wood. They can be soldered to the connector for leak-free use. Use lead-free solder if you go this route. BTW I've had to waller-out the manufactured hole on all the finish washers I've used for the fit of the connector.

Good luck!

No doubt, SAE and metric don't play well together at all. Everything is just a tiny bit too big or small. I really wish the US would get on board with the metric system, it seems like we're the only country that still uses Imperial measurements that's not still stuck in the 3rd world.

Washers are very hard on grinding bits and files since most are SS steel. They are very functional though. I got to where I used nickels, they don't destroy a bit instantly (I can do 3-4 with one aluminum oxide bit before I notice significant degradation. Diamond bits would be better but are more expensive) and are thick enough to make concave like a finishing washer.

Still not an answer to your question per se, but I went this route because I couldn't find drip cups either...

poland, and the brassy lands of google
Sometimes the brass finishing washers are made of actual brass but this is pretty rare. A #12 is a decent size but still needs some adjusting. If you want something more substantial, a male to male brass sweat adapter 1/2" from either Lowe's our home depot can be reduced to a nice cup.

I looked at finishing washers and the copper plumbing cap.

now with the washer how does the sizes run? bigger number bigger washer? #12>#6?

with the copper... correct me if I'm wrong but isn't mixing copper and juice a bad thing. With it being a bottom feeder I would be worried that if you spilled you could get juice back in the 510 and then you would inadvertently vape it.

:) I was so preoccupied trying to find a workable "shape" that I didn't even think about materials. I was looking at AN fittings in SS and aluminum, brass compression fitting end caps... all sorts of stuff, then I saw the copper plumbing fittings and went "ah ha!" on the shape alone.

Its cool...It helped a lot to get me thinking. I found a brass end cap for a garden hose I'm going to try

Brass is not good for vaping either - I made a feeder tube from 1/16 brass and after a few days the liquid I had in the bottle turned a very dark, brackish green. If you want something that deep you could use something like the cap from a lip balm or lipstick tube - there are stainless and other alloys available for those I believe.

I just stumbled across these and thought you may be interested.

The inner tube (stem) is 8mm in diameter...which means that a 510 connector should drop in perfectly, while a cart would likely slip into the grip. I'm ordering at least one for myself and will update if you like. At less than $3, why not, right?

vary cool...let me know how it goes.
