I've gone through two passthrus so far. What's up with that? Do they not work? Hoping I can find a direct passthru w/no inline battery, a higher quality one that lasts with a heavier cord. Would it be asking too much for a warranty on it also. $50 is the most I am willing to pay for it. 3.7-5 volt vaping is fine with me. Any ideas?

Please and thank you,
Seabrook

Best one I've ever ran across is the PS Passthrough. Went through a couple of the cheapies. One with an inline battery and one without. Neither one was worth a darn.:nah: I used the heck out of my PS when I first got it. Had to go to mods after using it lol. Haven't used it much lately (due to having quite a few mods). Used it last week for awhile and it is still a vaping machine. I've had it for over a year and have been super happy with it and PureSmoker. Good Luck and happy vaping!:vapor:

I have two PT's that I bought at MadVapes no inline battery but a small cord.

What I do is that I mod the PT with electrical tape and a straw. First a take about a one inch peice of a heavy large straw and cut it down the middle. I then tape the cord right next to were the cord connects to the PT. I wrap it around in one spot unitl it is even with the pt. I then take the straw and place it over the tape that I just put on and the PT. I then tape the straw onto both the PT and the tape.

the first one would only work if you held the cord just so, now it works like new. I just made sure that I taped it in the exact way that it was when it was working. I then did it to the second one as well. It has worked perfectly for months now. I think they are both at about 4.2 volts. I use regular Joye atties on it and they last for months and I am a very heavy vaper.

I hope this helps you are at least someone out there.

I use a sit-n-go USB pass through from Madvapes. I use DSE901 atomizers and a 510 to DSE901 adapter. these things are great and are only $13.99. I have had mine for a month and use it everyday. great vaper and throat hits. The only thing i found is that the cord is a little short , at about only 30". I have a USB powered adapter so it doesn't cause a problem for me but I think if you needed to reach under a desk you may need to use an extender cable. here's the link to this product.

Thanks everyone for their replies. I'm just so sick & tired of fussing and fooling around w/equipment. I will check out PS as per catlvr's post. And I sure admire BradSmith's resourcefullness. I just am so busy that I can't invest a lot of time modding stuff, although I might in the future. Would be fun if I could learn how to solder.

Janty has their Ego USB PT for $30. It's a regular Ego battery that can plug in through mini-USB for charging and/or vaping. The cord is removable, making it a portable Ego battery. Haven't tried it yet, but I will when it gets to my door!! ;)

Not that sounds sweet!

OMG, this is a miracle! Burto, this is not at all self-explanatory from your link. A person really needs to see this on uTube to understand how it works. This is breaking news. I had to go to uTube to see what it was. For anyone else who wants to see how slick this is, here is the link. I had to re-wind is 2ce. Thank you again, Burto -- you da man!!!!

Thanks Seabrook, I've been following this PT since I brought it up in late April. After thinking that maybe I had thought of it first, I found out that Janty had already been developing it, and would be coming out soon. Glad I could help get the word out.

Btw, I am taking absolutely NO credit for this idea, it was in the making LONG before I brought it up. Glad they did, this is going to be a game changer for my vaping life. Happy Vaping! :D

Now am I understanding this right? I have a Joye510. If I bought this passthrough, which includes the batt, would I then have a full eGo, of which I would have to only buy an AC adapter to keep it away from my PC? I have  watched this uTube 3 times now , and that's what it looks like to me. But w/the low price on this, then why would anyone buy the full sets when you could just buy two of these and get the same stuff? Am I missing something? Scuse my ignorance on this. Please and thank you.

If you get the Janty PT, it is in essence just an Ego battery with a USB connection. So your 510 attys/cartos will work on them. But, you will be missing the cone that goes on the battery. Luckily, you can get those almost anywhere for cheap. I think I've seen them for as low as $4, but I don't remember where. The full kits usually come with 2 batteries, one or two cones, an atty or two, a charger, the wall plug, and either pre-filled carts or a bottle of juice. So really, it is still a good deal for the kits. In your case, getting two PTs, two cones, and 2(?) wall plugs would end up being approx the same amount as a kit, without getting any juice or backup attys/cartos. The Janty quick charger is also very nice to have, as it only takes around 2 hours to charge a full battery from dead. So both are good ideas, I started with an Ego kit, ended up getting more batts and cones, and am now getting the PT. You can't go wrong either way, good luck with everything Seabrook. Feel free to ask any other questions, I can talk ecig all the time. :)
