Where can I find info on pass throughs?

Hi all, I have seen pass through advertised and just didn't think they were for me. But I am now curious. I have tried to search for information but I keep ending up vendor sites. I was wondering if they are the same 3.7 volts as my Riva 510 or maybe there are higher voltage ones out there. Thanks ahead of time. Cheers

I don't use PTs but there are usually 3.7 and 5v ones. You generally don't want to put LR attys or LR cartos on 5V ones. 5V needs standard resistance or HR stuff.

Most PTs cannot be run of the USB of a PC. PC USB is only specced to provide 500ma (1/2 amp) and a PT may beed more than 1 amp depending on the ohms resistance of the atty or carto attached. Trying to draw more power out of PC USB than it is specced for can damage some PCs. So I highly recommend a 2amp AC to USB for powering the PT.

Use my PT from my computer at least 4 hours at a time , no issues so far.....
