I recently bought a Vaporflask clone on ebay and the screen was broken. It did fire, but nothing on screen. I tried to return it, but the seller was non-compliant. After dealing with him for quite some time and getting nowhere (aside from being called a liar) I gave up and decided to just try to get it repaired. It's a very nice clone; looks just like the current version authentic Vaporflask with the updated 510 that has the single channel. The only difference I can tell is that the 510 pin is not spring loaded (even the box, charge cable, and felt bag are a match). So I'm not sure who originally made it or where to inquire for a possible repair (I did try Ace of Vapes but they have not replied for a week). Any thoughts? Any help would be appreciated.

I've gone through ebay for a defective rta, and they did close the listing. they still honor their policy. They may give the seller a warning and freeze his account until it's taken care of, but won't screw the customer. I don't want to be a ...., but you've obviously never been involved in a dispute with someone over a vape product, after the listing was removed. I have. It worked out just fine.

So... Let me rephrase this. Where can I get a vaporflask clone repaired? I'm done with the seller and eBay at this point. I'm just looking to get it fixed.

You probably can't.

If the display isn't working then it would require a chip replacement. If you're looking for someone else to order a new chip and replace it for you then in all likelihood it's going to cost as much as buying a new clone would. Probably more. The chip alone will cost in the $30-$40 range, and you would have 1-2 hours of labor at a cost of somewhere around $20 per hour from someone who knows what they're doing. These things only cost in the $65 range online anyways.

It would probably be as cheap or cheaper to simply order a new clone from a reputable online vendor that has some sort of return policy.

If the screen doesn't work, it could be a bad solder joint. I don't know where you live or what's around you, but an electronics shop that specializes in repair could take a look at it to make sure its soldered right, but they aren't experts in vaping most likely, but lcd circuit boards are all the same whether it's a mod or a radar detector.
