I think its more of a quantity thing;
CoV seems to have steady shipment of everything in great amount as we seem to have less...way less.

10x less would be proportionate as the per capitea figures suggest...but I dont know really.

I would imagine 2 things effect this. One is Imeo only sends what is ordered if there is stock of said items. A good example is I asked Imeo if he would be shipping more UFS V1 tank extenders he told me he would if Bruce ordered more.

The other is the Canadian vendor is actually a re-supplier and he has to order from another vendor I believe so that slows down shippments but probably also limits what he gets.

Update: Now GRBC has stock on the parts I was wanting. I'll have to buy a bunch of juice to make my parts order worthwhile;)

Sorry, I think you are misunderstanding my post. The level of service is unrelated to your statement, or my issue. I have always had a fantastic experience with GRBC. If an email falls through the cracks from time to time it's not the end of the world. He's a busy man, and I'd rather he get orders to the post office on time. His shipping times are fantastic.

However, that is unrelated to the issue I was having. He does(edit:did not) not have the components I need or want in stock. No ceramics, at the time no more spare wick or wire (I bought out the last of both shortly after my first post even though they weren't listed on the site, leaving me with the same question), no o-ring kits, no expanders. To chastise me for going out of the country for things that we cannot get is strange.
I wish to have spares for everything I can on hand. If you know of a way to acquire them inside Canada from a Canadian dealer, I would be happy to hear it, and I'll buy there next time. Until then, I'll continue to support Gentleman's Reserve when I can, and buy what I need elsewhere when it isn't available.

Just for the record...I never suggested anyone was "lazy"...those are your words and interpretation, not mine. I am going from my own experience with GR only: When I have sent them an email, I have gotten a reply EVERY time within 24 hours. When I have asked about a specific item, and it's availability, I have gotten a straight answer, every time, within 24 hours. When I asked about the wire/wick, I got a reply almost immediately that it would be there in a day or two. As soon as it arrived, I got an email telling me it was there.
I sent them an email last week regarding the Odysseus upgrade parts, and within 24 hours was told they would be here within a week. I awoke this morning to an email from them saying they were in stock, giving me the price, and also advising what other componenets had arrived, and their price as well.
I'm completely at a loss to explain why you have a different experience with them..everything I have asked of them, I've gotten a prompt answer; all orders I've made have been fulfilled very quickly and delivered within two days ( which is an amazing feat, living in Regina where Canada Post seems determined to delay every letter and parcel bound for this city by at least a week, and then lose during delivery)

I have no doubt that Bruce at COV is equally prompt..I don't order from him, or other U.S. dealers at all if I can avoid it, for a couple of reasons. First, I would prefer not to add Customs to the mix if I don't have to, second, and more important, I'm prepared if necessary to wait a couple of extra days to get something from a Canadian dealer ( although I've never had that happen with vaping supplies) to show SUPPORT for Canadian businesses. Lastly, I have purchased my Stealth, my Ody, all my wire, wick, etc. and now the Ody upgrade kit for prices equal to or lower than those of other dealers in other countries.
of itself is a good indication that we are unable to get it where we are)
