Just one hole through the center pin is all that's required?

I'm hoping to get another Reo soon and I don't use these anyway.

Those look like stainless posts but looks can be deceiving. Scratch the slotted head on the bottom with a sharp knife and see if it chromed brass.

So they won't work then correct?

Yo can still drill the posts out on them, but I wouldn't vape them though. Not if they are brass posts, not to mention the chrome plating on them... Again, it would be a better alternative to either drill or notch the insulators on them.

is the chrome the problem or just the brass? brass can be pickled to make it safe.

I think it would be both. The chrome plating after being heated up will break down over time and start flaking and the brass, (after being drilled), will counteract with some juices and might not be safe for us. That is why most actual BF atty's, (mfg'd), have SS posts.

The RM2 is a brass center pin. I'd drill and pickle. I did Dremel my Patriot. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/reos-mods/511025-patriot-rba-mod.html

Didn't know that. I thought the RM2 had a SS pin in the 510 connection. Does Rob pickle the RM2 after modding them? I'm still not sure I would trust vaping anything with a drilled brass or copper center pin. I vape menthol and I've seen the effects it can have on some vaping items. Its about the same as fruity liquids. I actually cracked a poly tank for an Aqua with a DIY menthol. It surprised me that it actually cracked. I would just rather not take my chances...
