Where can you find Powder Sucralose in Malaysia?

Whoa! Is there sucralose in eliquid. If that's the case then it's a total game-changer for me.

edit 1: I don't know why you're looking for this stuff but I would urge you to look into sucralose more deeply before you continue to set about procuring any. Perhaps try to get your hands on an alternative like stevia. Run a search for both and draw your own conclusions.

Seriously though, if anyone has any info on whether or not sucralose is used in eliquids I'd like to know about it.

edit 2: Nevermind that final bit about wanting info. I tend to forget sometimes that I can use google just as easily as everyone else. Not liking what I'm finding so far. Wish it had occurred to me sooner that this might be a possibility.

edit 3: I guess I could at least answer part of your question OP. Icing or confectioners sugar is not the same thing as sucralose.

Hello lightbulbsocket,
I don't know whether you're try to be sarcasm or you really don't know that many DIYers use sucralose or ethyl maltol in the eliquid.
Please let me know. Thanks.

Some people are afraid of sucralose because they believe all the anti hype that is mostly unfounded and not scientifically sound. Unfortunately, most of the sites that deal with this are laid out in easier-to-read laymen's terms than actual published papers so the rumors abound and actual science gets lost in the fear of "zomg chemicals!"

I already use Ethyl Maltol (1 teaspoon in 40ml of PG) into my eliquid, but it seems that my 10ml eliquid flavor has been muted a bit after I add about 4 drops of Ethyl Maltol into it. That's why I want to try to look for sucralose as comparison to Ethyl Maltol.

Not sure which portion of my post was sarcastic but none of it was meant in that way. I've been involved in vaping for literally a couple of weeks and I'm just getting a handle on a lot of the terminology let alone the various ingredients used in a lot of the eliquids. It really hadn't occurred to me that sucralose might be one of those ingredients.

As far a the studies concerning the safety of sucralose are concerned, I haven't dug a hundred pages deep into a google search yet but none of the studies I've seen have been very long term. I'm also not aware of any that have been focused on inhalation as the means of intake into the body up to this point.

Sucralose is a chlorocarbon, which is a really nasty group of chemicals. Some of these chemicals are found in foods many of us eat every day and are pretty much completely harmless. Some are, however, horrific tools of war such as agent orange and phosgene gas. There are also various pesticides that fall into this group. This is how sucralose was discovered in the first place. One of the scientists trying to formulate a new pesticide accidentally got a taste of the compound they were making and sucralose was born.

If I were going to buy an artificial sweetener for some reason, sucralose would never be the one for which I'd go. That said I have eaten things sweetened with splenda on several occasions and I'm not really bothered by that fact at all either. That being said, I just haven't seen anything that suggests that repeated ingestion over a long period of time is a good idea. More importantly, history tells me that inhaling anything else that falls into the chlorocarbon group is pretty much a bad idea.

I'm always more than willing to change my mind on things, so if anybody is aware of a study on the effects of sucralose through inhalation by all means let me know about it. Until I see a study that covers that though, I'm going to seek out eliquids with different/no sweeteners in them.

i have been using KAL brand stevia for 3yrs now and it works great the one thing that i have noticed is it will gumm up your coils faster so i have to back off a little my sweet spot seems to be .6ml per 30ml of juice at this level its still sweet but does not gumm up my coils any more than standard juice
