Hi guys,

I have an ego (well it says ego on the box but i dont think its real as in joye.)

I have been vaping for 5 months now, 4 1/2 months without a analogue, and am unsure where to go next.

I started with the carts that came with the set, soon got fed up with lack of flavour, wicking issues, polyfill etc........
........so moved onto dripping, until 3 atomizers died and lost their flavour, plus its a nighmare when out and about........
........so tried some cartos, ce2 style i think, but all five of them ended up tasting burnt after 1 or 2 fills, so messed around with them trying different wick mods etc to no avail, and am now using them to drip on, but again no good when out and about.........
........then read about the ego tank (the cone one). Tried that, blew the primer out filled with juice (im using red cola, which i like when it works!!!) yet again, tasted burnt. Had it for 2 weeks, always tastes burnt, doesnt seem to wick at all, but the vapour is good.

So my question is what do i try next for a decent vaping experience? I feel as if I am spending a fortune on equipment and getting no where, or am i just having the worst luck possible?

Im hoping someone will recommend something that will give me a half decent consistent vape, not cost me a fortune, and work with my ego.

The batteries i'm using are 1100mah if thats any help.

Thanks in advance folks.

If you keep having issues with things tasting burnt, possibly it's the way you vape. I'm saying this because I have similiar issues. Do you take long deep inhales? That may be the cause of the tank issues and wicking issues. I know with tanks you have to take slower, lighter inhales and wait a few seconds inbetween vapes so it wicks properly.

Have you tried any of the big dual coil cartomizers? You do have to keep these wet though or they will burn.

I'm not familiar with mods, maybe someone that is will have a suggestion. Maybe some sort of juice feeder.

You can also try Boge Cartomizers or SmokTech Dual Coil Cartomizers. They work very good on eGo batteries and have no filler taste.

Ive just been reading about these dual coil cartomizers and think i may have to try these. I have heard good things about boge cartomizers too, but struggling to find them in the uk.

I started taking longer slower drags with the tanks, but no difference at all, still burnt. I really think i am having the worst luck when it comes to vaping

I think Liberty Flight carries dual coil cartos and boge 2.0 cartos. If not, Mad Vapes probably does. Can you order from Mad Vapes? Mad Vapes has the ego mega dual coil cartos that hold a lot of juice. They say 5 ml but I think it's around 3 ml. They're a little pricey. You do need to get them wet though. Because they have two coils they can burn pretty quickly if they're dry.

Don't feel bad, I didn't have luck with tanks either.

I dont seem to have any luck with anything lol.

im thinking these dual coil from smoketech might be the best choice. What are the chances of me getting either these or the boge cartos, and ended up with a burnt taste? They both seem to have filler, whereas the ce2s dont, yet they ended up burnt

What kind of juice do you use? If you use juice that's heavy on the VG they will clog faster.

im using 100% pg, no vg at all, dekang red cola. It works really well in cartomizers, until they taste of burning (after 1 day, and i fill them up every hour or two.) yet just tastes of burning in my tank.

Think i will try the dual coil cartomizers, and if they dont work, god only knows.

I've been using the eGo Mega Dual Coil Cartos with my Riva and really liking them...available from MadVapes or SmokeTek(others as well)...when dry, they take 4+ml to fill with a syringe(the only way to fill)...it sounds like you are allowing your cartos and such to run dry before refilling...I try and refill mine when they get about half used up and have had no problems(so far) with them burning.............

thanks mad jack and everyone else for the replies.

Not too sure if they are getting dry, or just a bad lot (when i refill them they only seem to fit in 2-4 ml of juice.)

Will order some dual coil cartomizers and hope that these do the trick.

This is getting more expensive than smoking!!!
