Good to hear, as I really appreciate craftsmanship.
Another one who has some serious skill is Dready his doors for the Reos are awesome, got two for my polished aluminum really makes them a one off custom.

Do you prefer the wood REOs, the metal or the plastic (polymer?)?
The resins aren't out yet so I can't say, but between the wood and metal and it's my fault I feel this way but the metal. I am a notorious over squonker so I have leaks out my air holes at least once a day, with metal no big deal. But if it gets on the unfinished inside of the wood it's no beuno.
I'm pretty rough on my mods as well so the wood stays home while the aluminum goes every where with me. That and only the metal fits in my cup/mod holder I got at the vape summit.
So the wood on the inside is unfinished? Good to know (although somewhat disappointing).
PS - Sorry to hijack your thread, OP. Hopefully the questions I'm asking are helpful for you.![]()
Rob has posted vids on the REO forum of him making woodvils. He has some seriously cool equipment to make them. I waxed my woodies when I got them on the inside and outside to protect them.
To the OP, since you cant find the website, it is reosmods.com
Honestly I found the site now and the prices. Kinda expensive for a mech mod IMO. How do they perform. Voltage drop, etc?

Ok so I'm not dumb?! At some point I figured maybe I could only order mods directly from that site, but couldn't figure it out til you guys told me how.I just checked it out.
Good Lord what a disaster of a website.
I guarantee people have turned away because of that horrible website.
Ridiculous layout, impossible to navigate and where's the inventory?
Answer: buried deep accessible by a single tiny tab atop the page.
Will one of Rob's friends with some skills please help him out with a decent website?
All this support and no one telling him this is costing him customers?
Point of sale is very important.
I'm still confused. Does some guy put these things together? So they aren't mass produced like stuff kanger makes and then distributed to different vendors?
So how exactly does the bottom feeding system work?Correct.
There have been other bottom feeders like there's one called the vmod
Recently fasttech came out with one called 'terminator' which I have on order.. hasn't shipped yet. $30. But if I were in the USA, I'd have ordered a REO 2 years ago.
SQUONK!So how exactly does the bottom feeding system work?
I believe I used Howards. I got it at Home Depot. Check the REO forum, there was a large discussion thread after the Woodvil sale last year.Would the wax help with color bleed after hoople squonking?
Eta: Being serious if it does, what kind of wax? Preferably a low odor one.
Expensive, not really when you look at how well they perform. They cost about the price of 2 cartons of smoke or 1 month of vaping. They are pretty much indestructible. I have been using the same one for 5 years now and it is going as strong as day one, despite all the abuse I have given it. It has paid itself off almost 60 times now over the years. Additionally, if you don't like it, they hold their value and you can sell it on the classies for darn near what you paid for it. Other than the REO and the Provari, not many mods can sell for near original price.Honestly I found the site now and the prices. Kinda expensive for a mech mod IMO. How do they perform. Fair enough. There is that cheaper thing on fast tech someone showed me though I barely trust that site anymore. We shall see what reviews say about it. Otherwise I may save up for one of these. I like that system and bet the flavor is spot on
