The bottom fire button as well as the screw lock fell off in my back pocket. I also found a small brass spring in there. Despite my mechanical aptitude and best efforts, I can't figure out where to put the spring in order to restore the tension on the fire button. Now I'm having to twist the lock every time I set down my telescope to keep it from firing. Help me pleeeeaaassse!

Hmm, yeah that's definitely different than mine.On mine, the spring goes on the negative post that connects to the firing pin, that is then held in place by a piece of delrin when the firing mechanism is screwed into the main tube. I'll see if I can dig up any breakdowns of that device now that I know what it looks like.

First link, my switch doesn't quite match that one. Second link, that looks exactly like my mod.

The end of the button is indeed threaded, onto which a flat metal disc is screwed. I did not find any more loose parts in my pocket. Just the button, the locking collar and the spring. Logic would say that it goes between the locking collar and the button, but I can't push the button with that configuration.
