I leave my PV everywhere. If I have small batteries on me, I keep them in an eyeglass case in my purse. If it's something I can turn off, I just toss it in. Around the house - who knows. The other night I put it down and couldn't find it after cooking in the kitchen. My helpful SO told me to check the fridge and the freezer.....
Well personally i have kids so mine either stays in a locked box, in my bedroom high up out of reach (even though they cant open the door to get in there yet) or in my purse in a mod case when im out and about. It's pretty much always concealed in something if not being used. I'm always taking extra precautions as a mother.
Coffee Table when the child is asleep or on a bookshelf next to the couch when she is awake. Pocket when walking and I have a nifty little center console pocket in my car that holds one or two devices
