I have started looking for the best deal on AW 18350. It looks like ebay has the cheapest prices by several dollars. I just read a post though by someone who didn't like buying them from ebay but didn't comment why. I imagine a quality issue. What does everyone out there think?? rtdvapors seem to be the best i've seen so far other than ebay. I also checked Super T Manufacturing but it looks like they are shutting down.

I've read to many posts for me to ever trust ebay. I have no problem with clones or saving money where I can, but batteries are a critical part of vaping so I would stick with the recommendations you have received here. Believe me, we care about your safety almost as much as you. Good luck. :)

AW Batteries - Authorised Dealers

Today's battery market is extremely competitive. There happen to be a lot of disreputable vendors who are re-wrapping old harvested batteries from computers or re-wrapping poor quality batteries and disguising them to look like popular name brand batteries to make a quick buck off of unsuspecting consumers. AW and Sony batteries are the most common brands counterfeited.

Many of the batteries sold on Ebay and Amazon originated from Alibaba, a large distributor in China known to sell cheap and/or counterfeit batteries. AW (Andrew Wan) has said that all the so-called AW batteries sold by Alibaba are counterfeit.

There are also well known manufacturers such as Efest who rewrap other manufacturer's batteries and quote higher specifications than the original cell has.

Purple Efest Batteries Not As Advertised

Personally, I try to buy all of my batteries from RTD Vapor.

I don't think you'll find any REAL AWs on ebay. I was one of the unlucky who thought i'd try my luck, but they were fakes, so I was completely out whatever they cost -- no way of knowing what they REALLY were, and I just will not use "mystery" batteries for vaping -- I recycled them.

sweet-vapes.com is an authorized AW reseller. There are a lot of others, and a list of them somewhere. So far, sweet-vapes seems to have the best prices, at least at any of the shops I normally patronize.

I just read recently that AW batteries have now put a type of hologram over their oval that has AW written in it. If it doesn't have the hologram, send the batteries back. I've had very good luck buying legitimate batteries from http:/IMRBATTERIES.COM. I f you find that any of their batts are fake, please let me know but I believe they are really a good site other than selling EFEST batts because many of us know that the EFEST are just rewrapped batteries and you never know what you're really getting. I bought a couple of Efest about 6 months ago when I I didn't know about them and had been buying Efest a lot up until that point when I got 2 that became burning hot with just one touch of my mods button. It scared me so bad. I got rid of them immediately and the Ebay vendor only had excuses. Don't buy Efest. IMRbatteries has batteries that are priced nice. I buy the 20 and 30 amp IMREN and they have 40 amp VAMPED batts since I do some sub-ohming ( the lowest I'll go down to is .5) but these batteries last me a long time and that's pretty remarkable when sub-ohming. I've bought quite a few batteries from them, 1 of each that I wanted to test. Some were better than others but I found that the Samsung didn't last long. The Panasonic 10amps are stll working after months of use. They've started dropping just this last month.

Those IMREN and Vamped batteries are just as shady as the Efests. There are NO 30 or 40 amp batteries period other than the Sony VTC4 which is 30.
