Yep... Colors vary from time to time. The way understand it, It has to do with how long the different ingredients are together before being mixed with the others (ie, nicotine/flavoring).
I was explained this once, and it made
sense at the time. I don't nix my own, so I can't really break it down any further.
But, color should t make much of a difference. How's the flavor? Does it hit the same?
But yes... From batch to batch there may be slight color variances (even within the same batch, across densities). This is normal.
