Status update, I had the Spinal fusion L4-L5, L5-S1 on Feb 11th, Since then I have been taking 2x 10/325 Norco's (hydrocodone/acetaminophen) every 4 hours just to dull the pain and Dilaudid for break
through pain along with various other nerve pain meds and muscle relaxers. Just recently they changed my pain meds to 24mg time released dilaudid, 1 every 12 hours with fast acting dilauded for break
through). So, as you can see from just those two meds my mind is normally in a haze yet it still only dulls the pain and am at a 8 on a pain scale that goes to 10 (a 10 to me is a large kidney stone). I am being told that I am in a situation called FBS (Failed Back Syndrome) as the bones have not fused together yet. At this point it is undecided as to what the next step is. Either I am looking at another surgery or I will just be stuck like this which will really suck. I still cannot sit or stand for for more than 5-10 minutes at a time which really sucks. I promise at some point I will finish what I have started and catch up with these illustration as it eats at the core of who I am that I have left something unfinished. Until then, if there is anything I can do to help (and I will try if I can), please feel free to send me an email at
mark_goldsboro@yahoo.com as it takes way too much time and pain sitting here to try and search
through these posts to find something that I can help with.
I still owe illustrations for:
Penelope
Ithaka (just received, thank you Imeo and Bruce)
In the very near future I will be selling off some of my GG stuff as workers comp has become a royal pain when it comes to paychecks and things are getting extremely tight. I have a couple of GG's, a bunch of odds and ends and some things not made anymore so if there is something I might have that you may need, shoot me an email at the address shown above and I will check to see if I have it. I cannot sell anything on ECF myself because of my Supplier Associate title and I refuse to give it up voluntarily so any transactions will have to be done through email.
