Could someone please tell us newbies where these liquids are produced and if there's a big difference in quality (stuff such as not clogging the atomizer, etc.) between them?

JantyUSA
Jane's kick juice
Puresmoker (cash e-liquid and pure ejuice)
litecig USA
ecigarettemall
Johnson Creek
and other brands that you can think of

lol. are you on a thread binge today?

anywho, I posted a similar thread a couple weeks ago which wasn't successful. maybe you will be but i came to the conclusion that, eliquid, like many other things, I do not know where they originate.

i tried to find out where suppliers were getting their stuff but honestly that's their decision to disclose it. i think they should be held responsible to disclose ingredients however...

i'm sure someone will come along to help you out Ying but the only supplier that I know anything about is Johnson Creek. They produce in the US and have not had any atomizer clogging problems over the last month or two...however they are currently trying to figure out whats going on with the green discoloration in some of their liquids.

Johnson Creek - US
Freesmoke - Spain
Cybercig - France
Everybody else - China. I've heard that there are four different producers in China.
dont forget Totally Wicked...from the price and impression pillbox tries to give,it must be made in a pristine, bespoke magical factory...possibly manned by willy wonkas oompa loompas on loan...

well...it couldnt be just a standard Chinese factory which churns out other eliquids and god knows what else with no regulation like all the rest...could it?;)

Oompa Lumpa do do do do ...

You're on an angry rampage against Pillbox at the moment Darcy ... I feel like that about one of our UK suppliers who doesn't understand what the word ethical means.

You know what, I'm getting weary of hearing how bad China is. At the moment I'd trust their eliquid more than a well known non-Chinese brand that has ambitions to be a green superjuice.

I have to say I wasn't meaning to have a go at Darcy there, it was a fit of frustration about all the negative things I read about China. Actually I have a feeling that Darcy is a pretty fair minded person.

There's no denying that we should be concerned about quality, purity, contamination and all the rest so why are people so blind to the dodgy practices of people from other countries?

naw im not on a rampage Kate...just trying to make a point in an amusing way...;)

no regulation+no continual UK accredited lab testing=no safety or purity boasts permitted as a selling point in my book..."take my word for it" from any supplier isnt concrete enough evidence for my liking...
we should all be aware by now that its all a gamble we're taking anyway, short term and long term...from any current eliquid...

oh dear, you having trouble yourself then?i havnt noticed you on a rampage with a UK supplier...
well,it never hurts to stand up for ourselves and call out bull when we see and hear it...

so how about this JC thing then...mine has never turned green...
i dunno if its got something to do with the way its being stored and handled...bit suspect that other non-JC generic liquids also gone green...but then those generic liquids are also stored in clear bottles, plastic ones tho...might have nothing to do with bottles and light at all...who knows...interesting and disturbing...we await developments...

It was pretty funny :)

I tend to think that traders who expect us to trust them at their word without proof are pulling a fast one. It makes me more suspicious and that makes me ask for more evidence.

Not really on a rampage or anything much, I'm managing to contain it for now, but a bit annoyed at some questions and suggestions being either ignored, fobbed off or getting obvious bullsh1t answers. I hate people treating me like a bimbo and some suppliers seem to think that's what we are ... just bimbos to make money from.

If Johnson Creek was a food product it would have been taken off sale and recalled. There would have been lab tests to find the exact cause of the problem and a scientific assessment of implications for health, long and short term, of exposure. I don't know what caused the green stuff but it's a joke the way it's being dealt with. No other industry would get away with such flagrant disregard of welfare.

We can await developments but don't expect an honest response if we get one, there have already been two implausible explanations.

Guess we'll either all look stupid for jumping to conclusions or be confirmed over suspicions in about two weeks time if all goes well.

I've been exchanging dialog with Christian at JC and he has assured me once the returned green tinted sample sent to him is properly analysed by a lab, (as none of their on hand stock nor their samples they keep of every batch have presented the same problems) which was only received by them today, he will be releasing a copy of the report.

I personally don't feel, at the moment, that I am being put at any more risk using the product with a colour issue as I would be by shelving it and either returning to analogs or putting my trust into a foreign money making endeavor.

I guess it all boils down to speculation(s) and time until we find out for sure.

i also hate ........,and i think this business is swimming in it...in fact i know it is...but there you go...

anyway...i actually dont expect much more info from JC...because i dont think they have a clue right now what really happened themselves...

edit-i see the guy above says theyre getting lab tests done...so we shall see...as long as they let us in on them...
