can a girl find some semblance of a complete vendor listing in the world of vaping? Yes, I know there are vendor chat rooms here on ecf, but what I am looking for is a complete listing of what is out there....Example:

www dot vapingwebstore dot com - Tom, John, & Harry run the joint out of John's Mom's basement in Hooterville, IL. Blah, blah, blah

Sells:

* Cartos
* tanks
* Attys
* eliquid
* Mods
* Replacement batteries

Specialties are...

Maybe some sort of pricing scale...

So on, and so forth...

Is there something like this anywhere? If not, would it be something people would be interested in? As a new vaper, I am finding 10's new sites everytime I look. I am a blogger, a webmaster/designer, and all around internet gurl-geek and would be interested in making one. Lemme know what you all think!

i think such a list would be too hard to compile...almost impossible...its a really hot new industry right now, lots of new shops popping up all around as well....so i don't think it really would work....in my own personal experience, the registered suppliers listed here on ECF are some of the best ones to go through, as there are also lots of scammer websites out there and you have to be careful where you shop online with all the credit card fraud out there.

A single page (maybe 2) of links and if the vendor has a physical store would help. We see lots of questions regarding location, i.e. are there any stores in _________ (pick a town/state/country).

Sure it could never be complete...it would be a revolving, growing thing as stores come and go. It could have reviews like, "Hey don't shop here, they are ripping people off!" or some sort of rating system controlled by the webmaster and crew as to not be flooded by industry groupies and such.

that does sound like a good move, as i posted before, VS USA only shows local area stores, i would like something more along the lines of a review site that would give everyone a voice, sort of like amazon reviews with the 5 star system.

hrm...I'll check it out...I'm going to sub this thread to see how this matures...you should also have categories on the site like sites to shop for: devices, juice, accessories, etc.

you really did mean incomplete lol....i like the misc. section, doesn't necessarily mean easy accessories like drip tips....now to just add the websites

I haven't activated the .com yet. It's purchased but won't go live until I feel that it's ready for the public. I am currently working on the shell so you may have some issues seeing at as I am updating it about every 5 minutes ...lol

I'd keep them in misc...I'd also add special mention in the misc category for stuff like the gooseneck/tank filler tools/etc....sort of like a comment after the website name it italics or something.

Thank you for the good wishes. They are appreciated.

I am not promoting any one company above the others or trying to get a piece of the action around here, as a n00b to vaping it has been extremely frustrating looking for pieces, parts, and juice. So many vendors, so many different items, prices, flavors, etc. I am doing this as a helpful tool for the community. I have the knowledge to help get something streamlined since I do it for a living and since no one has taken it on...why not? I do plan on verifying each website myself so there will be no problem of throwing Joe Schmoe on the list for someone to get ripped off.
