So I've got the Aspire Nautilus, as well as a Kanger Aerotank Mega. No problems with the Kanger whatsoever...very pleased with that purchase.

The Nautilus on the other hand, not so pleased. I like the fill capacity as well as the locking airflow design, so I'm hoping I can find a way to get it to a satisfactory level.

I've read and heard good things about their new BVC coils, but I tried doing a google search and it only brought up one or two stores claiming to carry them, neither of which I've ever bought from before, and I have a very long list of trusted suppliers I've gone through personally for various things. So my first question is, what are some online retailers who carry the BVCs?

The 2nd half of this thread is a question regarding the BDC coils. When putting a fresh one on, I'll remove the base from the tank, put a new coil on it, fill the tank up, put it back together... then I let it sit for several minutes before taking several pulls on it without using the fire button on my mod, making sure plenty of liquid is being absorbed.

I'm using the 1.8ohm BDC coils, with a PG/VG ratio of 70/30 liquid, with my mod set to 3.8v ... The first actual hit I take is usually OK... Not great by any means, simply OK. I am a chain vapor, and after that first hit, I start getting more and more burning taste. I've tried adjusting the airflow with no success, and decreasing my mod 's voltage doesn't help. It jumps down from burnt taste to not producing much vapor at all (and still has a burning flavor).

I've watched the Busardo and RipTripper reviews for this tank, and they're getting huge amounts of vapor, while taking hit after hit, complimenting the flavor the entire time... So... am I doing something wrong here? Or is it possible BOTH heads I've tried on it were duds, or what??

So in short, where can I purchase the BVC coils, and what are your thoughts about this wretched burning taste? I find it hard to believe both PBusardo and RipTrippers would compliment a tank that is constantly giving off that burnt cotton taste so either I've used TWO bad coils in a row, or I'm doing something wrong.

I really hate to have to throw a new tank in my "Useless S**t" bin so soon after purchasing it. But if the BDCs all perform this way, and the BVCs don't help as much as I've read here in ECF and heard in video reviews... Then I guess I will unfortunately be tossing the Nautilus to the side and buying another Kanger Aerotank ...possibly the Giant edition of it.

As always, any help, tips, or other input is greatly appreciated

The aspire store is one of the very few who currently carry the bvc. It's so new on the market, you won't find it many places yet.

I will leave the rest of your post to someone else to answer. I don't have the problem that you describe, so I don't know what to tell you.

Good luck!!!

Thanks !! It took a few minutes to find them on their website because I'm on my phone, but I found them nonetheless. Very appreciated!

And believe it or not, I got my Nautilus WORKING!! I'm not particularly fond of how I got it hitting correctly, but I did.

I was literally so frustrated after posting this that I went to my desk and grabbed my pack of replacement coils. I said to myself, "OK.. You've seen numerous videos on this device, claiming it works great...you've seen how it's filled and are making sure enough liquid is being absorbed. I'm going to try every one of these replacement coils just IN CASE, because I've got nothing to lose by doing so."

The FOURTH coil I tried, worked perfectly. I couldn't believe it at first. I'm STILL waiting on it to turn on me, to be honest, but it's been hitting like a champ thus far. So the victory is actually rather bittersweet.

Yes, I got my Nautilus working properly, but I went through three more, obviously bad, coils to do it. Which considering their price isn't the best ratio...lol.

I won't say where I bought these coils out of good nature. I've been an avid buyer from the retailer for over 2 years and their service is superb. This is the first bad experience I've had through them, so I'm simply going to chop it up to the "S**t Happens" category.
