Where to buy presta nuts

Does anyone know where I can buy nuts for presta valves? I was able to get some old tubes from a couple of bike shops, but once I got to cutting them off of the tubes and looking at asdaq posts again, I realized I need the nuts that go on the valve and I didn't have them. I can go back to the bike shops, but I thought I might just buy some. However, the few I could find cost 2-5 dollars apiece, and almost no one carries them. Anyone know of a cheaper source for them?

Try McMaster Carr. Search knurled nuts. Cheaper in bulk.

Thanks. I looked but didn't see them there. According to this forum - http://forums.roadbikereview.com/components-wrenching/presta-valve-threading-210464.html - the threads are m6-.75. I guess I'll just journey back to the bike shop.

Just an update - I went back to the bike shop. They were more than happy to give me a dozen presta nuts, and said to come back if I needed any more. This particular bike shop has been very friendly and helpful - the first one I visited, not so much. Unfortunately, the nice bike shop is at the north end of Austin, and I live at the south end. If you're familiar with Austin at all, you know what that means!

Anyways, find a friendly bike shop, and you'll up to your ears in presta parts!
