i hear the ody is nice man good luck, i have the penelope myself, if it's anything like it then....well you're just in for a treat....as for the price point of 200 bucks, i found penny in the classifieds for 150 if it makes any difference....

i went to look just to see if they have ceramics for penny, i could use a few spare ceramics...and some o-rings, though i can probably find the o-rings somewhere else, but the ceramic....that's a pain.
I ordered a few extra ceramics, if I need o-rings I'll probably just go to a hardware store. Here's the sizes for Penelope:
Base: 11x1.5
Cap: 8x3
Center Post: 1.78x1.78
Metric yeah, not sure if there are any equivalent numbers like how you see at home depot etc.
i have a caliper with equivelancy down to 1/64ths of an inch if i really need to break it down like that, though i highly doubt it, as i'll most likely find the o-rings no sweat.
Yeah I think it should be pretty easy. I rarely see the word caliper outside of work haha. If you ever need tools calibrated let me know! I thought of offering to calibrate ECF members multimeters but I don't think anyone would be that into it haha,
I'm a fully certified mechanical engineer...and quite frankly, I'm lost without my calipers lol...but no I understand where it would be a good service to offer, however I generally have the means to do it myself...and no,I don't think I'll have any issues finding metric rings anywhere, but it's nice to have a backup plan in my back pocket.
