Hi Sharon, I'm not aware of any local vendors in your area but there are quite a few Canadian vendors available online. In fact, most Canadians order their ecig supplies online. Just visit the Canada suppliers forum for more info. Most of the vendors have alternate shipping methods available during the Canada Post strike as well.

Hey Sharon,

Don't bother with over the counter ecigs. The stuff you find at gas stations and health food stores are overpriced and you won't find any nicotine in them.

There's a pretty big learning curve with ecigs, so do your reading. The nicotine in the ecig juice (ejuice) is a gray area as Health Canada has so far refused market authorization. You cannot import it, but there are quite a few Canadian retailers online. I highly recommend getting ejuice with nicotine. You will find the switch much easier.

As for the actual hardware, you have lots of options and it really depends on what you're looking for. Read read read, and ask questions :)

Hey Sharon,

Welcome to ECF ... take your time and chose the right PV for you .. the ban on Nic started long ago ...

I'm not sure of any but hope you can find a vendor offering other shipping now that canada post locked the doors ..

From what I understand, I can still order from Ecovapour.com...today being the last day. The ban starts tomorrow? Am I wrong? I'm trying to get an order sorted but it's a bit of a rush...

Last sad day for this Vendor.. damn HC

Check out HappyVaper.com, myself and a lot of other members can't speak highly enough of Jack and Rob. They also offer UPS shipping for a very reasonable price and they have a 20% off coupon going on right now.
decent hardware - 0 nic

So, this is getting exasperating! Let's see if I have this right....I can still get nicotine juices, but I can't legally order them in Canada????I'm sorry to be such a pest, but I didn't even know about ecigs until two days ago...I thought I'd found my quit smoking miracle!

lol hey, i only learned and started 27 days ago ... alot of info out there ..

..so to answer your question, some canadian vendors do still have Nicotine, legally maybe not so much..(yet)
the hardware itself is totally legal i think as it is sold in stores(i wouldnt buy)

and dont feel like a pest..

It is not illegal to own the nic juice, nor is it illegal to order it. Health Canada has simply not given it market authorization , which in turn means it’s a legal gray area to sell it, and customs won’t let it get across the border.

Fear not. There are many other Canadian websites that offer nic juice. The only problem you face is getting it in the mail since Canada Post is no longer operating (and choosing the right ecig for you).

And yes, it is overwhelming at first, but it pays to do your research.

Don't despair, it's just typical Canadian baloney. Always the last to approve of anything. We have had lots of discussions here about good old health canada and their practices.

I can tell you that after many years and so many failed attempts at quitting, e-cigs were the one thing that worked. Not only worked but made switching to them actually fun.

I second that! I feel like I just switched to a much better brand! Also, everyone is entitled to their 'opinion'...that's all Health Canada can offer at this point, an 'opinion'....a fairly ignorant and uneducated one at that!

Well, the way I see it is that if Health Canada has issues with Ecigs, they should have a bigger issue with analogs...See, I'm learning the lingo! LOL! Actually, I suppose they do have an issue with cigarettes.
Seriously, I doubt I would try anything that I feel is a danger. Cigs are my only vice...I don't drink, I'm not overwight, I eat healthy, I walk an hour everyday...Geez, I even make my own birdfood, ( I have eight birds) so that they get proper nutrition!!! I'm making the decision to change an unhealthy habit to a more healthy one. If there are issues, then it can't be as bad as inhaling carbon monoxide, cyanide, formaldehide(sp?) etc.....
I'm feeling good about it now. I have a list of suppliers, and I just have to wait out the postal strike, I guess...I have to check and see which vendor will post during the strike. Its a rotating strike, and the mail is getting through, just more slowly.

Concat, I'm glad to hear that it is not illegal to own or order. I don't want to get into a mess...the whole thing sounded scary at first. I got confused in legalities, and thought it was illegal to order or own in Canada...LOL!
