Two months ago my Grandma decided to try to quit smoking (for the 100th time. lol) so she got an N-Joy e-cigarette. She likes it and hasn't had a real cigarette since. Her only problem is the price. She gets 5 cartridges for around $18. I looked at the njoy website and found they were $2 more on there, so she's already saving a little. But is there anywhere to buy them cheaper?

If she likes the Njoy I think she'll love the Volt from smokelessimage.com. The 2 battery kit is around $45 and comes with 5 prefilled cartomizers of her choice, or blank cartomizers that she can fill with her own juice if she already has a favorite.

After that the savings will really start to kick in over what she's paying now as a box of 5 cartomizers, either pre-filled or empty is around $8. The cartomizers hold more liquid also than she's getting with Njoy so they will last her a little longer.

As for the Njoy, all their stuff is pretty high and not considered to be that great for the price. If she wants to keep it she could always buy juice and refill them. I don't know how easy it is to refill a Njoy but shoudln't be difficult and could save her a ton of money. The Volt cartridges can be refilled also as with just about any cart or cartomizer.

EDIT: Found a thread that has some info on alternatives and refilling Njoy if you don't want to go the Volt route.

YouTube - ‪how to refill your e cig cartridge 901 and 510‬‏ Have a look. There is a learning curve but once you've got it it's easy. Many many videos on youtube about it.

I had trouble with something so I'm going to point it out to you, the first time you fill one, over fill it. Otherwise you'll burn the insides and ruin the cart. Look up the condom cap method too.

Also, if you do buy juice, gourmetvapor.com is having a 50% off sale till the 4th of July if you put in the promo code GIVEME50. It will take longer to get because so many people are ordering, but it's pretty cheap right now and there is a huge selection of flavors.

Now I'm super confused. So instead of buying cartridges, she can just buy liquid and refill them herself? Is that difficult to do?
btw, I'm checking out the Volt right now.

Yes, e-liquid is sold from a many many vendors, its just a matter of finding a flavor or flavors she likes. I don't have any experience with the Njoy but there are videos on it and it doesn't look difficult at all. If she's happy with the battery life and everything else with the Njoy that would probably be the way to go.

If she wants to try a kit that will give her longer battery life and uses cartomizers that hold more juice and she won't have to fill as often and still stay with a cig sized battery I'd recommend the volt. Those cartomizers are super easy to refill also and will save money if she doesn't want to keep buying pre-filled.

    in a cave, eh?
Yeah, the NJoy is a RN-4081 when you're looking for blank cartomizers for it -- definitely cheaper and easier to source than pre-filled. As long she's comfortable with filling them or somebody's around to do it for her.

If she's better with the pre-filled, then buying a Volt from Smokeless Image is a good way to go. You could look at Vapor4Life for pre-filled cartomizers for the Volt system. There are other suppliers, though.
