So im starting to get into rebuilding protank attys and im wondering where to buy cotton wicks, preferably organic, in 3mm? I found some from a place called pick n puff but upon opening its far too flimsy to wrap a coil around, and far too thick to insert if I were to wrap around something else (I tried a toothpick, dont have a drill bit just yet). The youtube vids ive seen, that seem easiest to me, they take the wick and insert a needle or saftey pin thru the center of the wick and wrap the kanthal around that....but the wick I got from pick n puff kindof just falls apart (its very loosely braided). Hopefully im being clear lol.
So, yeah wondering where to buy? Tia!

Rolled cotton at pharmacies.. or cotton balls. Rolled cotton isn't organic...

You can't wrap on cotton like with silica. You need something like a drill bit... something that is the same size through out it.. if you know the size of it, you can use things like the vaper's toolbox to figure out how many wraps you need for each resistance, without trial and error.

Edit- if you're pulling the cotton through, and it's resisting being pulled through, you're using too much.
