I been trying to make a cotton wick that will act like a SS rope since I like that SS is solid and easy to wrap coils around. Obviously you cant make cotton, metal, but I just want it to be stiff like the SS cable used in gennys. When I use cotton wicks on genesis atomizer like the steamboy, its too flimsy and its hard to get a good juice flow because you have to make the size on top much bigger so that it doesnt slide into the tank. I was thinking that if you were somehow able to braid the cotton into something really dense, it could act as a ss rope in a way where it would be very solid but produce the flavor of cotton. I know there are cotton wicks that are already in a strand, as opposed to making one from a cotton ball, but once again those are still very flimsy. I currently have a cotton sleeve on my setup and it actually tastes pretty good, but I feel like there could be more. I picture it being the size of a small drill bit, dense to the point where if I were to flick it, it would have good resistance, braided, and made out of cotton. LOL Am I asking for something thats not realisitc?

Buy cotton yarn (like the popular "peaches & cream" brand) and braid it yourself over a piece of wire... say, 24ga Kanthal, to retain stiffness and still have good capillary action/juice retention.

Duhhhh...great idea, I wonder if I'll be able to braid it to where it will be really tight and not bulky. Ill try asap and see how it goes
