I meen like popular flavors whete to get them and mixing suggrst

The best way to start is find recipes that are well reviewed that sound good to you then order the flavors you need for those recipes. If you just order a bunch of flavors without knowing what recipes to make you may end up lacking some key supporting flavors you need to make a properly balanced recipe.

Thanks would you know where can i see good reviews re. Recipie ??
On this forum you can only go by comments in the recipe threads. There are other sites that have a lot more recipes and rating systems but they can not be mentioned here due to the forum rules/censors so you will have to do some google searches for other e liquid recipe sites.

Ethan, start reading the pinned threads. The recipies usually state what flavoring, how much, and where, pretty much, if they're using flavoring from a particular vendor.

It's a lot easier than it looks like. Start reading the pinned threads, they will answer your questions.

You can also buy very small amounts of flavoring (I got 10 mls of a bunch of flavors I thought I might like) and my first flavor turned out great. Way easier to do than I thought, don't get info overload, but yes, you will find flavoring recommendations.

As long as you don't overbuy amounts, like I got 10 flavors to try, (at around 2 dollars each) and they're 10 ml but I only ended up using 25 drops of flavoring in a 30 ml batch, it tastes great. Flavoring isn't going to be your most expensive ingredient, probably the nicotine is.

Good luck.

Flavoring isn't going to be your most expensive ingredient, probably the nicotine is.

Most flavoring actually costs more per ML than Nic and most people use more ml of flavoring per recipe than they do nicotine. Popular flavorings like TFA cost ~$4/30ml ($133 per liter) whereas cheap nic is about $50 per liter. Vaping 24mg nic with 20% flavoring would use slightly more nic than flavoring per recipe but the flavors cost significantly more per ML so nic is still cheaper than flavors on a recipe by recipe basis.

That being said it is still way cheaper overall than buying pre-made juice from a vendor. I can make 120ml of DIY for 2 or 3 dollars versus the 30 or 40 dollars I used to pay for juice from a B&M shop.

Well, I'm a flavor lightweight I guess. My thought was, "I can always add more" but I didn't need to. I definitely put more nic in my recipie than flavoring, but I decided to make my own recipie first. I think the amount of flavoring in some prebought stuff is just overpowering. But, I think your calculations are correct, Fozzy71. Thanks for correcting it :)

yeah, no worries. It is a popular misconception and can vary significantly depending on nic level, flavoring cost and percents used. I vape 3mg nic and use real flavors super concentrates at 3.5% so I use about the same number of ML's of flavoring as nic in my recipes but the RF SC flavors are $7/30ml which is $233 per liter when buying them 30ml at a time. That cost would come down significantly if I were to start buying them in 4 or 16 ounce bottles but those bottles would last so long they would probably go bad before I could use them up as I don't like to vape the same recipe all day long.
