Hi guys, been using 808's for a little over a year (V4L) but I find I am spending a lot because the cartos/batts don't seem to last very long with me, loss of flavour, burnt taste etc, just convenient throw away sets for work, but also they take FOREVER to charge up especially XL ones.

Thinking of getting a Joye eGo (had bad experience with my first ever ecig, the first Janty Stick, so not too sure about the Janty eGo) and I would also like to get a tank atomizer too.

My questions are, other brands like the Totally Wicked Tornado instead of Joye, is there much difference as in is the TW quality good, no wobbly button etc or since they are all made by Joye are they all basically the same thing with zero difference in performance? Tornado seems to be popular so may get that but don't think it actually comes with the 2-2.5 hour fast charger? Their liquid is nearly 3 times as expensive too, is it much different/better tasting than V4L and others?

Also, I assume if I get a basic starter kit, all I will need to tank is the tank atty and some tanks for it nothing else? Can you see the fluid level without pulling the tank off on either the black or clear tanks? Shame they don't seem to stock the larger tanks or carts.

Finally, does anyone know of any lanyard that fits the eGo/Tornado, that can either be used while still in it or not? Used to carrying my VK around my neck as anything in pockets usually gets crushed at work.

Only really have experience with basic 2 piece 808's so apologise if most of this is the basics heh

Thanks

Joye manufacture all of Janty's devices (under Janty supervision and original design) and all of TW's Joye-related products.
So they are the same, except with different branding.
But the Janty eGo-T will come with the eGo-T battery (with switch-off mechanism) due in about 2 weeks, and so I imagine TW will incorporate this element into their batteries as well at some point...

Not very well; it is best to gauge the liquid remaining by pulling out the tank to look.

Yes, there are hand-made ones available here -
Vaper Trails eBay UK shop items - Hand made felt neck pouches.

I don't think it makes much odds Duncan, but I suppose standing it up could make it more likely to leak through...
(although you are using a 901 that has that hole in the side that it could ooze from, I guess...)

I tend to have mine lying on its' side because I don't want to knock it over.
But when I'm holding it, it's in more of an upright position.
(At the moment), I mainly use cartos, which might be less likely to leak than standard atomisers (well, definitely less likely to leak than some atomisers).

Got the starter kit from Totally Wicked as well as a tank atty and a pack of tanks because Janty is out of stock currently but whenever I do see them in stock I think I will get them there for the warranty, horrible warranty at TW IMO.

So far, tank system is AMAZING, awesome flavour and so much vapour right from the start, only downside is it really does drink juice SO fast, also I have found I really like the wicked juice, which isn't good considering how much it costs. Also the needle didnt pop the tank good enough the plastic circle was still attached a little bit so had to pull that off with my teeth while trying to hold the tank still in my other hand to not spill it, nothing major just a little annoyance.

Only problem I have found with it is if you line up the air slots in the atomizer with the slots on the tank, the flatter mouth piece is not flush so I have to hold it with the button over to the side which is annoying, wish they would make that all line up properly. Word of warning though, because the tank burns through liquid much faster, the same mg nicotine strength may now be too much. I have always used 18mg, but now using that because I get so much more much quicker it's making me dizzy, so might have to drop to next strength.

Also for anyone wanting to know, if the TW kit seems too much for you then you can get a kit at e-cigz.co.uk for only £34.99, only comes with 5 not 10 carts though (not tank). Wish I saw that before, but I like the TW logo on mine heh.

I'm thinking of moving to a tank system, or at least cartomisers because these carts are doing my head in! You know how a hamster gets its water from that bottle nozzle thing by licking the drip and then another appears..... well I'm 'hamstering' my cart filler & wick between drags (dab dab dab) and that gets a perfect hit without flooding and tasting juice, but it gets wearing after a few hours!

So the eGo is a tank system? and is totally wicked the best place to get them/it? Someone please help me I love my riva to bits and I don't want to waste money on something thats not better.

Ps I think I've invented 'hamstering', anyone else do this? Maybe I'll patent it lol.

Love to all!

Oh, ps, I'm sure you get it, but I'm not dripping, that floods my cart occasionally or I taste juice or its just annoying, hamstering is the best way of filling the cart material and wetting the wick without overdoing it, I am the hamster king, nobody thought of this before me, worship me, etc, blah...

:) 'Nuff Love my loyal subjects :)

Please don't hate me, I am only joking, well sort of you can worship me if you want..........

:D:D:D

I am like you so you've invented a new word 'hamstering' I don't like dripping I end up drinking the liquid, or flooding the atomiser. I'm going for the tank as well. Someone gave me this link. It's the cheapest tank I could find and you get 10% off at checkout by using this code SAVEECIG.

TORNADO TANK E-CIGARETTE [TANK] : Easy Cigarette, Electronic Cigarettes Made Easy

Oh and for the basic ego kit you can't beat this price £34.99.
