I just bought 4 new DSE 801 Penstyle batteries, not the auto or usb type - the 4 I just ordered, two passthrou and two regular have all had the little black buttons go inside, happening over and over again and are really just useless. Want to find Sealed DSE 801 regular batteries that I can purchase and hope someone has suggestions on where to buy them, would really appreciate any info on good sealed manual battery. Thanks a lot, Darlene

Hi Darlene,

I am a little confused as to what you are saying. Do you have manual 801 batteries that are giving you a problem? If so, where did you get them?
Aren't they under warranty?

Sorry - I bought 4 new batteries, all with the auto switch (little black push button on them), two were regular batteries and two were the USB type batteries, all with the black push button to turn on and off. Within two days all the batteries were useless, the black push buttons kept sticking, droping inside the battery and no matter how often we were able to pull them back up they would drop back into the battery again - as I said two were regular batteries (auto push button) and two were USB type push button batteries. Now I just want to go back to the old manual type battery but want sealed batteries where the nicotine won't get into them. I don't want to say bad things about the company, just will never buy from them again, to have all four go bad so fast is not a good sign. Don't know where to get the regular old batteries for the DSE 801 Penstyle that are sealed, do you know where they might be sold. Sorry I have made this so confusing

Ummm...it sounds like you have your terminology mixed up, Darlene. The description you are providing tells me that you have manual batteries (you have to manually activate them/turn them on by pressing on the switch). The ones you are desiring are the automatic batteries (have no switch; you merely screw your atomizer on to it and vape without touching anything). Unfortunately, automatic batteries activate through either sound or vacuum turning on a switch inside the battery which causes the battery to activate. Therefore, the battery must have a hole to sense the sound/pressure. So......if you want sealed batteries, you will have to stick to manual batteries. I would suggest you get your defective buttoned batteries replaced through your vendor.

Do you mean the button is getting stuck in the battery? You shouldn't have that problem if you push straight down. Sometimes mine get stuck but I just press it again and wiggle the button a little to get it unstuck. Probably only happens once every 50 or so presses so it's not a big deal to me.

Otherwise my manual 801's from Ruyandirect have been amazing. No problems at all and blows my 901 manuals out of the water.
