why does like so many online cites not shipping into sg? its kinda getting very annoying :X

Because normally it won't get thru customs and those who ordered would claim refund as item did not arrive.

It usually arrives but get detained and destroyed at customs.

As an online seller I would be making a huge loss if ship to sg.

I just started on e-cig. Have heard about it a long time ago but never tried it until I was in Canada. There they allow e-cig with no nicotine. I have been smoking for years but more out of habit rather than needing the nicotine high since I do not "Tarek" but rather huff and puff. I really like the no nicotine e-cig but don't understand why Singapore not allowed. I saw a lot of FT complain on forum. I just ordered from v2 so hope it can get through.

Lots of people speculate it is because of the tax. Imagine the amount of $ Singapore government make. a pack of 20s for S$10 and above. A box of 10s is S$100. buy a box of 10s (200 sticks) for S$40 at duty free when you pass through Changi. The markup in the name of tax by Singapore government S$60.

Starter kit with V2 at US$60 (S$75) with 10 cartridges. If 1 Cartridge = 1.5 packs. That's 15 packs. 1 pack is S$5. E-Cig will be like duty free cigerettes.

Newbie here..
Always wanted an ecig for several years. Just did not know where to get them.
One day i saw a guy smoking one, asked him where he got it..
Did not provide his "supplier" contact, but finally got to buy thru him.
Just a basic eGo on the box stated eGo-U CE4, but the price was marked up really high when compared to price listed online.
Now thinking of getting a Vamo and Kanger Protank.. Just no idea where to get online, most online store don't ship to SG.
I always end up going back to the stinkies cos can't find a steady supply of e-liquids..
Guess i have to post more here.. Hahah

Tried V2. I just placed an order but still not sure if they will really ship and if they do, will the item arrive or end up as HSA loot. I guess I have to try. Best method is to buy lots from online when you travel. Get 1 year worth of refills, liquid and etc. Or have office overseas that you can ship through. You can also get a friend in US, order online and ask him to ship as a care pack to you. Worst still, you can ship to Thailand (even Blu ships there and they don't ship to many places) and buy an airticket to collect from there.:p Haha :p

Another way is to get from local supplier. Without the worries of custom check but at a higher cost and limited choice.

Agree. I am definitely considering that route. I actually got a taste of it in Canada and since it is nicotine free, I really like it. No smoke or awful smell and I can even vape in the car. The other is cost. Cheap alternative to my cig that cost $12 per pack.

Been reading up and it seems Clearomizer is the way to go for true vaping rather than those cartridge filled with burnt taste. What do you guys think?

Seriously, local suppliers are almost non-existent. Authorities are extremely active in stalking and tracking them. Even if you manage to find one, they won't last long. When busted, the authorities will trace all the customers and call them up for an 'interview' to collect evidence and will be threatened with arrest if you don't turn up. You'll have to surrender your ecig too. It happened to many members who bought locally and is still on-going.

It is quite pointless to ask for 'lobangs'. The difficulties you are facing on getting an ecig are what the rest are experiencing in our country too. No one can really advise you on the 'best way' to get one, all come with risks and no guarantee. They will probably tell you what you already know. No such thng as 'special ways' that will prevent a close brush with the current restrictive laws.

However, if you manage to get your hands on one, the health benefits to yourselves and families are enormous. Find out more about ecig and weigh the differences between risks/money loss VS health benefits, then make the decision yourself. Vaping has changed many of our lives for the better and will continue even with the unfavorable local laws.

I see you're from singapore as well.. Have you started on e cigs? Or thinking about starting on them! I have several questions

I am already on e cig. Started when I was in Canada. It comes with a basic usb charger and replacement cartridges. Much like the starter kits you find with Blu/Volcano/V2

Hey everybody, im new to vaping (actually haven't even started) and looking for info in getting my hand on one. hoping someone can point me in the right direction in getting one.

I understand the difficulty in trusting a nobody but honestly, im pretty lost on how to get one since the clamp down recently. Hoping some kind soul would help me out.

Hi n Salute to all the veteran members here! I am new here as I didn't really expect to find a forum of our local vapers here. I am a heavy smoker with almost a pack a day for 20 over years. I was skeptical on ecig at first but still gave it a go & yes, I was able to cut down to 3 analogs a day in the first week & stop analogs entirely on the 2nd week. Proud to say I am a non smoker now but a vaper instead. Sad to say as it is banned in our homeland, but let's help one another to stop the analog habit & keep sharing tips & info on vaping. So happy & pleased to know that I am not alone after all.:vapor:
