3 weeks into vaping and not smoking, I can't taste a darn thing. I was loving the cappichino and Almond joys....but now, I can't taste ANYTHING. vape wise, not food or drink wise.
I DO know I still hate the fruity stuff. WHen I wake up in the am, I can taste the cappichinos and almond joys and still like the taste. But during the day, I'm having a hellovatime tasting the flavor.
Anyone????
I'm using a 510, have I already outgrown it? I put enough juice that sometimes it overflows and "seeps" out when I put the tips on..... CRY CRY CRY...I miss the flavors....

Same thing with me, so I'll guess it's 'normal'. I have noticed that now (and, yes, it's been a couple of months) I'm starting to get more flavor back.. some days more so that others, but it's slowly returning.

Hang in there is all I can say.. I think I was so used to tasting the nastiness that was burning tobacco that my taste buds just decided to turn off for a while.

The only thing I can say is: hang in there - dont give up (even on the fruit flavors).

Around week 4+ I felt the same thing. Nothing had much anything. Even my first sample of Nhaler was "good" but, nothing like "whammo".

I then one day around week 8, loaded up my 510 and took a drag, and Blammo! I was so floored by the flavor - I double checked the bottle to make sure I was vaping e-juice.

Since then, every so often - tonight for instance, where my vape just doesnt taste right or is very bland. Usually something really salty, or peppery (tabasco), radish, wasabi - does the "reset" that Turco mentioned. Then I will be fine for many days again.

I also think, (and this may just be a product of my very warped mind) that sometimes attys have personalities. Different attys at times just vape one flavor better than others. My wife has an atty right now that might make impacted .... gland excretion a tasty vape.'

i noticed every atty performs differently, different volts also changes the flavor, reseting your taste buds is a must, When going from analog to digital you more then likely will go through a crazy taste bud faze, somedays the same juice tastes great, others days its to light, other days it becuase gross, others days its just fine, of coarse sometimes the juice just sucks but thats not the issue here.

There are tons of juices out there from tons of vendors that the majority will like but there is also a bunch that either are really gross, or unvapoable all day. Not only do you need to try the atty's out at different volts and try different types of atty's but the device also makes a difference and then to top it all off, 6 out of 10 juices usually arent suitable for us, and then the 4 that are left you eventaully get bored of those and you keep searching for that number 1 choose. And the whole time your taste buds are changing every day, sometimes for the worst and sometimes for the better. I am 3 months in and my T buds still go whacky

Everything that they all said for the most part, but don't over do the salty stuff. I almost live on pretzels and when I eat too many all my flavors taste nasty. Sometimes I will end up with 5 different flavors of cartos going. A few hits off each and it all ends up tasting the same, the next day all is good again!

Try to hang in there. I think it will get better with time. I know that my taste buds did flip flops for probably the first 2-3 months. When I first started vaping every flavor tasted sweet to me. Then I was able to taste the flavors but some days the flavors would taste good and some days nothing tasted good. There were many good days and bad days for me vaping as far as flavor goes but over time my taste buds have gotten much better and I can taste all of my flavors well. I just get tired of them and rotate between flavors. If you have any menthol liquid, you might give that a try. For me the menthol seems to clear or clean my tastebuds. Try to stick with it, it will get better.

I experience this lost of taste on juices also. I just try ans switch around whenever the taste goes. I find some of the minty juices always seem to have taste so if you like mint things you might try that.
Drew's lung juices never seem to loose flavor either but you said you do not like fruity. I carry two attys and about three juices when I leave the house.
So if I am vaping Drewbacca I will have a bottle of that, a bottle of lung juice and a bottle of something minty.
I vape the drew until it starts losing flavor, and then switch over attys and vape lung juice or the minty juice. It seems to help with losing the flavor of my favorites like Drewbacca and Cafe Mocha Tobacco

    Thanks, hitman.

I had thought of that, but I must say that I seem to be the only one on these forums that is not 100% satisfied with the customer service, so I think the effort may be futile.

I have spent a few hundred dollars at NHaler, and I generally enjoy everything I get from them (the shipping times are beyond reproach). Recently, I bought one of the elongated 808 batts but didn't use it right away. (I generally use 808s 'on the road' and use my 510 batts and protege at home... currently eyeballing an xhaler as well.) I've been trying to use the 808 batt recently, only to find the center circle (in the middle of the threads) seems to move slightly around the circumference of the outer circle. I thought this could be why I was having intermittent vaping troubles and why it was a trick to get the charger to recognize the batt for charging.

Long story short (too late ) I was told to buy another one since the 14 day warranty period had expired. True enough, but I doubt I'd get any satisfaction on the juices since they are from the same time period.

Seabury, That is too bad about the battery. I did the same thing with some attys that I got from another supplier. I didn't try them all and one died right away. It was after the warranty period. I would contact drew anyway on the liquids. If they are not right, I would think that he would replace them or at least let you send them back so he could test them himself.
