We leave tomorrow and come back on Friday. The weather is going to be crappy but I don't care. I love just watching and listening to the waves.

I had to take Elsa to the kennel. Talk about a big chicken!! She's rottie and dobie mixed and w/o Maya she was shaking like a chihuahua!!! Too funny!!

Poor baby!!! If we go anywhere I will have to board Littlebit too, because of her seizures. She has to have her meds and I don't trust anyone to make sure she gets them!
I would love to be able to sit and listen and watch the waves. last time I saw the ocean was when my ex and I went to Hawaii in 85....forever ago!!

Never been to Hawaii and don't expect I ever will. B. has no desire to go. I wouldn't mind going though.

It's very pretty. Had allot of drinks out of a pineapple...LOL. There was some things that I wanted to do but didn't...kicking self in the but still!!
OMG I lied we went to Galveston in 1994 with another couple and 4 kids. That was fun, kids had a blast!

I get 6 weeks of PTO a year. But I rarely use it. I usually have 6 weeks in the bank when I go. My boss always wants me to take a month off at a time!!

Is he crazy could you imagine the mess if you took a whole month?? Do you get it paid out if you don't use it, we do? Right now I have 88 personal hours and 78 vacation hours.

No Fudgey, use it our lose it. I don't care if I have to sit at home reading a book........I'm taking it. Just in my own time.

Well that sucks!! We get to bank our personal hours as many as we want. I keep those in case of emergency. I get pretty close to using all vacation before I get new ones. If not I can sell them or carry them over for 60 days. Keep hearing rumors at work that we might find out next week about the job. Either way I just want it done and over!!

I don't know Jerry! It's nasty here! We usually have summer weather for most of September but the last week hasn't been great.

I know, here too, Norie. Summer just vanished and it feels like fall is here early this year. I never thought I would say this, but I"m glad that summer is over, it was too hot this year.

I will send you all some of the summer we are still having, 90's here and high humidity!! We are going to go from summer straight to winter this year!!
