I know several people who won't put their credit card info on the web at all. They buy Visa gift cards. Would QuiBid take that?

eBay started as a great thing but it is totally professionals selling now. Occasionally you can still get a deal, especially in clothing. But it amazes me how many people sell stuff for more than it costs at Amazon or Buy.com when you include shipping. There's a hard decision -- especially since most eBay sellers have no returns.

You can find some good stuff on Craigs List but it's nothing like eBay used to be.

I use those gift cards to be on the safe side. and you do have to watch those prices.

Ah, the 'the better idea.'
With it we could make the trip about once a week.

No cooking once a week - I'm game.

Yes Poeia, that SHOULD work. However you will have to "register" the card with the issuing company so that there is a name and address attached to the card number.

I had a pool party for my daughter and one of her friends when they were 16 at a motel. Me and the girls mom chapperoned, needless to say we did not sleep at all.

Fortunately I would have opted out of that. For a while there, I did not tolerate sleepovers, being a single man. Its just too easy for a misunderstanding. But when I have let them do it, yes, there isn't much sleep to be had. :(
