I've never been to Cornwall. It has to be damp -- it's basically the peninsula in the southwestern corner of England -- lots of good salt air. But it's definitely gorgeous.

Bad news: The ground is too cold to melt the snow much- its turning into heavy slush.
Good news: It's 40 degrees.
Bad news: Soon the temperature will plummet to the 20s and freeze all the slush into ice blocks.

So I just came from FaceBook. My neice had a urgent call to visit the bathroom and while she was gone her daughter got into a big jar of Vaseline. Smeared it all over herself and a computer chair, and the kitchen floor.
