Deej, it isn't really black. It's white drifts covered with a layer of black, greasy soot. In some spots you can't see the white snow at all, on part of the drift it's almost all white and on most of it, there's a lovely black and white mottled effect. It's quite charming.:closedeyes:

It's quite interesting in it's own way....LOL

I get that stuff here, too. tire dust, oil microdrops, diesel exhaust...

When you fly over LA, you can really see it... thick brown blanket covering the city. From ground level, the sky can look clear, but get up to 2,000 feet and it's gagalicious!

There'd be times I'd be on approach to Santa Monica Airport, and if it wasn't for GPS I'd have no idea where it was.
