They are getting old, Mary, they don't have the stamina that we younger folks have.

Thanks. I was pretty sick still today but now I'm feeling better. I've never had a flu like this one. Absolutely horrible.

It cost an arm and a leg to heat this house in January. I don't know how much longer I will be able to afford the high heating costs and the high taxes.
That cold weather cost a fortune in oil. Every 2 weeks I needed to call for more oil. AAARGH!

That's how I felt two years ago, it was the worst flu that I ever had. Last year's flu was bad, but not like that one was.
Yup, but they mostly talk about rain, not three feet of snow. I can live with rain, I don't have to shovel it.
No and I'm sure I'd get tired of it though I do like really hot temperatures. But add all the snow and ice to bitterly cold temperatures like this winter and it's a pain in the neck.
They need to take oil off of the commodities market. The rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer.
It's way too expensive trying to stay warm and actually you don't even stay warm just survive. Who can afford to turn the heat up!
a very cold temp is not good for us over 30 and under 45 , hard to say for those over 45
Mary, my dad is almost 90, I have to keep the heat up for him. I use electric heaters for most of the day, that saved me a couple of hundred bucks last month, but even with that it was still too expensive. Something has to give, or there will be a mass exodus from here.
