I am so glad I won't be around 100 years from now. We'll be nothing but a slab of concrete and eating artificial food. It will be like Mad Max or tank Girl, LOL!
That may be true too, it might be a wild and lawless world with survival of the fittest. The human race seems bent on destroying itself, maybe it will succeed.

Yeah, but I got other people I am responsible for, so you do what you gotta do, right. I do think we, as a society have gotten a bit pampered though. I think about my Grandma's life and this is nothing compared to what she got handed from time to time. Or what about the settlers, throwing everything they owned into a wagon and crossing all kinds of country. I ponder all that and things don't look so bad.

When you look at it that way then we do have it easy. But we also have allot more things that we think we need to do.

I bought cheese ravioli, threw in some hamburger that I'd cooked and frozen earlier, and then added spaghetti sauce.
Cook for an hour, made some garlic bread, and yummy.

Sounds yummy!!! We had poin loin and baked potatoes.

I had my first panic attack right before leaving for Denver last Christmas. Really freaked me out. I haven't had one since then though.

I'm glad you haven't had anymore!!! I used to have allot of anxiety when my son was younger and having major problems, It hit me mainly right before I left work to come home.

That is good. The bad ones are freaky. Klonopin is my friend. Don't use it much but just knowing I have something should it get ugly helps.
Yup, I had them bad for many years, I still get them, but not as bad as before. I quit the prescription medicine 20 years ago, I use Bach's Rescue Remedy now, it works good for me.

I am always fascinated by the way people lived, when they had to be totally self sufficant.

Fudgey, yeah, my middle son caused mine to really escalate in his teen years. Little stink, I should have known he'd be trouble the day I birthed him, three days of labor, back labor, came out looking screaming and looked like a glo-worm! He's growing up just fine, for the most part.

My mom came over from the Nederlands when she was a toddler, My Dad's grandparents were Italian Immigrants, not sure about my Dad's Mom's side except that she was Irish and went to Catholic school with Al Capone's nephew and I think her Dad was a Chicago cop.
And then there is me, my Mom still can't figure out where the redneck came from. I told her it was because we were raised too strict and she wouldn't let me have my own pet.

Mine was my baby, he is 19 now and he started in 5th grade  Still trying to get him to grow up....LOL

When we have a bad summer and the garden doesn't do so good, I think of those who had to rely on what they planted or starve. That was rough.

That would be hard!!!

I can't imagine Jerry. I get real pissy when I get cold and I have split wood with an axe, and I know how fast we burnt through that pile that took me a couple hours to split. I like doing that stuff and cooking over a fire I built outside but full time living is probably not as romanticized as we have been led to believe by movies etc. But I aim to do a bit more of it once we move.

Well, I did grow up in Indiana, it's a tweener state so maybe that explains it and the funny way I pronounce my A's. We lived in town but I always envied the farm kids. So I grew up and have been working towards being a farm kid my whole life, except for that weird punk period between the ages of 17 and 19. LOL!

I haven't taken any recurring prescription medicine in my life, except for when I tested positive for TB and had to take INH for 6 months. Trying to stay that way. I may have to exhaust all of the natural remedies first. I should probably be carrying the Bachs Rescue Remedy on me at all times.
