jerry, for a forum that has 60,000 members with 10,000 participating to be thrown for a loop when 1000 are browsing at one time is not the best planning. this should have been anticipated a long time ago
Limiting visitors might work, but if I was looking for info and had to sign up to get it, I'd do it in a heartbeat so we'd just have more members. Kind of a damn if you do and damn if you don't.
It has grown in leaps and bounds. Roly said money isn't the issue so I agree, this should have been foreseen.

I will say it is kind of 'Wow' on the size of this place, in a really good way. Remember how long it use to take us to post 13 years ago and that seemed super fast back then. We've gotten a bit spoiled in this electronic age. I guess it doesn't bother me too much, pretty incredible how they keep this place going and moderated.
Up to today, I haven't let it bother me much but I've been on periodically today and every time I've had trouble. As it's been said, it's progressively getting worse.

Hi everyone. Glad you are feeling better Lis.
Classy, it was a long day but okay, had to do a freezer reset, thankfully it did not take me too long, I hate working in the freezer.
Tomorrow I get to drive to depressed Rockford and switch out a sink, I ordered the wrong color by accident, ended up in a huge fight with hubby about it. Working with a spouse is over rated....actually it shouldn't be rated positive at all!
