I know what you are going through, Mary. I have been watching my Dad's health decline, for about 15 years now. Two heart operations and a pacemaker. It's hard to see, he was always so energetic.

My father had 2 heart attacks and bypass surgery and a bunch of other heart procedures. He had a heart attack in front of me and turned gray. The minute we hit the ER he went into cardiac arrest. I had called the hospital ahead of time and what a scene! A great doctor saved him that time.

Always have been...I had to sew my foot up one time...then that time I smashed my thumb and had to push the bone piece back in...and then....well...you know how it is!

He's 80 a bit younger than yours.

Always have been...I had to sew my foot up one time...then that time I smashed my thumb and had to push the bone piece back in...and then....well...you know how it is!

Sure beats spending 12 hours at the emergency room.

My dad was 72 when he passed, he had an aneurism (sp?)

I've spent so much tine in ERs around here and it's horrible. One time a girl went to an ER around here and waited so long she called an ambulance to pick her up at the ER and take her to another hospital.

Yea...mine was 75 too...but it was harder watching him suffering every day..every breath.
