We have the garage door, a sidewalk, and then the road. We've got other sidewalks that have to be done too and that is why we went with the blower instead of the blade.

Ah.... yep, no sidewalks here... deer trails though
Blades on garden tractors can be a problem too. Esp. front blades. Had a cousin that popped on off - not a big snow either. Some better than others - his was a craftsman though....

I understand now. I had visions of the mowing deck (cover) coming off, but the mowing blades still spinning there (so you could get to those hard to reach places). As much as dismemberment fits in with the Halloween season.... I wouldn't wish that on anyone. Now I understand that the blade is for that "S" word, that we are all trying to avoid saying.

snow, Snow, SNOW!!! There, I said it!

Figured you might have the wrong 'picture' there :)

It's a Cub Cadet and I hope I don't have problems---did make sure it had a good warranty!

Oh that's a good one. Almost got one when we first moved here. Went with the bigger Kubota - an investment that I never regretted. The Cadet would handle a blade well, but you're right - for what you need the blower works best. Keep the wind on the right side or where a scarf

I have yet to drive the darn thing (just got the mower). Guess I need to just in case I have to do snow removal. Ugh!
Hopefully I won't so I'll be sure to tell DH that!!!

I think I might have to have me one of those... Not so much for the snow or the yard, but just imagine the admiration one would get when riding high to a bat mitzva, or a casino grand opening on one of these bad boys....

We thought about the zero turn before deciding we wanted a snow blower.

If I had a 'regular' lawn, I might have one of those 'grasshoppers'. That one is slick.

But for not mowing/plowing:

I'd like to have it to just bop around town in!!

Lots of those 'Florida communities' have golf carts mainly - It used to be around here where all commerse was 'in the neighborhood' before strip malls and malls. Still in one area of East Toledo there are bakeries, butcher shops, funeral parlors, hardware 'in the neighboorhood' but they struggle to stay open. But you'd still get run over in one of those
