I will never understand why the first frost or storm of the season catches the utilities, etc. by surprise every year. Yes, this was early in the season, but it's not July.

Every autumn, when we have the first overnight frost, all the commuters are late to work because the switches on the railroad froze. Excuse me, but the weatherman told you it was going to be freezing overnight. The temperature will drop below 32 many more times before spring and you will manage to keep them thawed, why the #$% couldn't you do it tonight?

I do plan for that. Mostly I just plan on staying home.
Not everybody has that option.

I'm back. We lost our power for two hours last night and when it came back on, I made my last post and then went to bed. This morning my internet was out and was out until a half an hour ago. The mess outside wasn't too bad, we got two inches of wet heavy snow.

Yep....that was me I am going to get one, I sold the Kindle I have now and the difference will be part of my Christmas
