Looks like its going to be a wet night there. I dont see any current tornado sigs. Hope nothing happened earlier. :(

Hi Kent! :)

Hey Ralph... have the news on in the background and didn't catch the location.... but the lead in was 'after the earthquakes, now tornados in Oklahoma'....

It's raining here after a pretty nice weekend...

Thats always scary. Those earthquakes are really puzzling the geologists. You can tell reading the writeups that it is definitely odd that the frequency of them shot up around 2009 by a factor of about 100 and hasn't let up since, (in that particular area). Very strange. Maybe Oklahoma will get a mountain after all.

Hi Jan.... don't know if that was anywhere near Fudgey, but thought I'd check here.

Ralph, I suppose once the plates start to move and built up pressure there would be some activity until something eases the pressure.... now I'm sounding like Red in Shawshank Redemption

Red:In 1966, Andy Dufresne escaped from Shawshank prison. All they found of him was a muddy set of prison clothes, a bar of soap, and an old rock hammer, damn near worn down to the nub. I remember thinking it would take a man six hundred years to tunnel through the wall with it. Old Andy did it in less than twenty. Oh, Andy loved geology. I imagine it appealed to his meticulous nature. An ice age here, million years of mountain building there. Geology is the study of pressure and time. That's all it takes really, pressure, and time.
