Hi Chris.... there was a point when I was really into photoshop where I considered a Mac... wouldn't do it now but it may have been a good idea then. The iPhone is stealing the phone market right now and if you have a Mac there are a lot more apps - today - you may know where CES ;) Someone was saying there's a talk to type app. Now that would be nice..... I'm sure there are others out there already MS had one that never went anywhere - but this one sounded pretty good for a buck ninety nine.

Hi Kent, I have an iPad and will prolly move to the iphone in the next month or so (currently palm) ...but i can't deal with a mac- even for photoshop. Too many of the programs i need to run aren't compatible- heck, even the latest office version isn't compatible. argh. I think you have to train the talk to type apps, though i hear the person who lives in the iPhone 4S is kind of fun- Siri? CES looks like a fun convention to attend

Good night Fudgey, sleep well :)

Good night Kent :)

Good night Kent :)

Popped back in for this.... It's possible that the talk to type app can be done with the PC too - just new and if not it likely will be. I hear you though on other programs. Mac is still late on some... and I never liked having to pay extra for the Apple name. I recall early on - hung around a computer shop and someone brought in an Apple Writer printer - it was the same printer as another popular brand at the time now out of business :) but it cost exactly double in price. The repair tech used the other's parts to repair it - I mean exactly the same except for the logo.... That was one thing that kept me away and then seeing what RAM and HD's my cousin got on his Mac compared to what one could get on the PC was just more 'reinforcement'. Another thing that was embarrassing to Apple is that Photoshop - written for Apple to begin with and all at Adobe have Apples - the PC was faster at running Photoshop!

Anyway, night... ;)

Yep.... Started reading (and liking) with the intention of catching up and playing a bit. Wasn't wurking for me (you guys is too fast). So, I got back to work. Finished up about an hour ago. I had another 220 posts to catch up on after I got back on here.

Sorry I missed Nico. Come back more often!

I am beat. Maybe see you guys tomorrow.

Good morning :)

Kent, for me, besides the price, and lack of programs one of the other worst thing about macs is that there is no right-click option
(it's a little ironic that the apple phones, pads and pods have gazillions of apps, but the computers have such a dearth of functional programs)

Classy, Happy Birthday in here too
