And I think so far it's been successful. I have one in the pond - they're voracious eaters of vegetation - which is likely your problem....
I'm in OR and we don't have this problem yet. But it's been on the news that these very hardy fishes have been spreading in the waterways. They're trying hard to keep them from The Lakes. Maybe it's hype?
