I knew you'd know! Thanks Jane :)

Thank you, Poe. I like that scene ending much better. :)
She was making a pass at him.

Other great lines from Lines in the Sand:

House: After that look I'm feeling a little frisky, looks like you're up.

Cuddy: I'm ovulating, let's go.

House: The frisky it went away.

and, of course, "You can't stop our love" screamed into a meeting Cuddy is having with some suits.

Dr. Cuddy: (talking about Ali) Your girlfriend called the clinic 15 times looking for you today!
House: Huh! A lot to discuss, china patterns...
Dr. Cuddy: House, she is a stalker!
House: Right! Couldn’t be that she finds me interesting, attractive. Has to be that she’s insane.
Dr. Cuddy: She’s called you 15 times! Your mother is not that interested in you!
House: Well, maybe I’d be better adjusted if she was!

Nowwwwww I know why you watch that show...all the time, err...great storyline.

It's considered a drama but better than any comedy program on tv.... imo..... it has some poignant moments... Most likely, most people would hate House's character (but still enjoy the program)... not me. There were only a few times where I thought he crossed a line (and to me, it was out of character - a writer's mistake :) )

The House character reminds me of CES' description above her avi - optimistic cynic.

And man, he gets cynical. I know only from clips, never watched a whole episode.

"Optimistic" would be a stretch  He's all about puzzles and the 'game' of it, but not about 'the patient' so to speak. That's the meaning of this passage:

Rebecca: Am I ever gonna meet Dr. House?
Dr. Wilson: Well, you might run into him at the movies or on the bus.
Rebecca: Is he a good man?
Dr. Wilson: He's a good doctor.
Rebecca: Can you be one without the other? Don't you have to care about people?
Dr. Wilson: Caring is a good motivator. He's found something else.

The 'something else' is the puzzle. Although for me and I think, his character... the 'caring' is doing the job right - not the outward drama that people show to make someone else think they 'care'. In that sense, I think he 'cares' more than those who think they do or think that they should, but don't really. ;) Much more....but you'd really have to see a few shows... and I'm off to get my new glasses - my eyes improved! How can that happen?? BBL.

Short answer: A Forbidden Love episode(s) proved to me he's optimistic. That's what I would think of myself if I even considered someone "Over 10 year younger than me".

Glad your eyes are improving.

Hi Chris... Has it been a fun ride? Was for me....

so far :) . I like the characters and their interactions. every once in awhile House lets a teensy bit of humanity peek out, but only a hint. but it does make me crazy that they're wrong so much more often than they're right, until they get it right....

Hey all, long time no see.

Love all the house clips, no more direct tv so no more house for me though I suspect my monster in law has a few seasons on dvd I could watch. I always joke that I am married to house with the exception of the genius brain. LOL!

Lots of snow here, it was fifty and gorgeous out yesterday and it is full on winter today. That is IL for ya.

I guess I need to go change my pic, Christmas is over.
