Laundry and helping DH paint the kitchen ceiling.......so exciting.....LOL

The kitchen went from please paint the ceiling. To now DH wants to hook up the oven hood that has been in storage forever and taking out an old microwave shelf. So now I have a hole in the kitchen ceiling and sheet rock dust everywhere. Why do I open my mouth??

It will look a lot better.....right now we have spots on the ceiling from when my son opened a pop and it exploded, he dropped it in the trash can and it sprayed the ceiling.... It will be nice to have the vent hood though.
